Amazing food! My husband got the yaki soba and it was so garlicky and yummy. I got sushi that was so fresh and the spicy kani salad was to die for!
The food was excellent high quality and the service was polite
A huge surprise to find this place in Portage of all places! Friendly, clean, excellent food with an extensive menu. I'm really impressed. Great selection of lunch specials too.

Hachi Hachi Sushi & Hibachi Portage is a huge surprise to find in Portage. This restaurant offers friendly, clean service and excellent food with an extensive menu. There is a great selection of lunch specials, and the sushi is really good at a reasonable price. The fish tempura roll and black dragon roll have very good flavor, with the Black Dragon being a favorite. The atmosphere is nice, bright, and clean, featuring a charming ocean theme. The store owners and workers are patient, kind, and understanding, even remembering orders. The sushi and crab rangoon are sooo good. Prices are great and on par with other sushi restaurants, but the Regular rolls are only $5-$7. Add some cream cheese and spicy mayo on top for a very large portion for half the price. Rolls are hand made, so there is usually a little wait. Kitchen items like ramen, yaki soba, udon, or hibachi make great appetizers. This place comes highly recommended.
