Great Mexican food, gray people, great service

Miserable portions, 3 tortillas for a whole plate. The servers don’t even understand English to take an order, even in Spanish. I don’t recommend it.

Maria at Jose's is an absolute pleasure to interact with. Such a doll in the best possible way (spoken from one 'gal' to another).
Excellent service throughout my experience, and no question is a stupid question. Many fresh and good options to choose from on the menu. Just wish they had CocaCola from Mexico so I could dilute it with soda water myself. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to ALL synthetic food colorings/dyes/and non raw sugars. They let me make my own ginger ale-iced tea though which was perfect for my needs. The skirt steak entree was perfectly done and lasted me 2 more meals (taken home). Definitely, more than worth the cost for a petite chica like myself. Unless you're somebody who likes to gorge because you have a high metabolism, or you eat 'family styles as in sharing is caring, no one person really needs that much food in one sitting, just saying. And, sorry, not sorry.

Please don't pass by without telling them Nichelle from L.A., TX, and Saint Paul says 'hola!' or 'hey, girl/boy, hey!'

Tried to order a Margarita and they said no liquor. No biggie but it set the tone for the rest of the bland meal that was nothing special at all.

Love the steak nachos. The best place to eat in the Dells.

Jose's is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants.

The food is awesome. I always have the Fajitas Jalisco, and it is delicious. It arrives sizzling and smelling incredible. A single order costs $21.99 and is so worth it. The portion size is amazing. You get so much chicken, steak and even five shrimp which are not tiny. The sizzle brings out the best in the onions, peppers and tomato. Oh my, so delicious.

The service is impeccable. My son and I eat at Jose's at least twice a month and sometimes more. We have never had a bad visit. The staff is so friendly and accommodating.

A special shout out to Maria, who seems to be working every time we eat at Jose's. Without a doubt, Maria is the most personable, welcoming staff member at Jose's. Maria makes you feel so comfortable, always checking to be sure things are great. We love seeing her. She has become an important part of our visit as I think we look forward to seeing her as much as enjoying the food.

Jose's, I hope you know how fortunate you are to have such an excellent employee in Maria. Maria is a great ambassador for your restaurant.

The Jose's inside HO-CHUNK gets five-stars all day, every day. You will not be disappointed.

I go to all the Jose restaurants and this one by far has the best staff and also the food is 5 stars the portions are immense

We had dinner at Jose’s was very quick to get seated and get service our server Andrea was very nice and was amazing and so was the food definitely a place to go to again.

Food is awesome! The server named Dwane said the cheese sauce was made from melted blocks of white mexican cheese which explains why its so creamy. I love the horchata it was made from scratch unlike other places.
