We come to Jose’s every time I’m up here in Baraboo. Sometimes more than once in a weekend. The manager Maria is the best. She always makes sure to say hello and make sure your food is good. Andrea is also on the top of our list of favorite waitresses. We go to their trucks to eat and the Jose’s in hochunk is the best. Highly recommend.

Hair in food. Long strand of hair was found in fajitas and so called manager came over and took hair back to kitchen. Then returned to inform us that no one there had long hair. When even our waitress had long dark hair. Which it was. We are all gray. He was a joke. And now has lost quite a bit of business for this restaurant. This happened at casino but I wouldn't trust other locations if this is how they operate. Maybe health inspector should make an appearance

I have never had a real issue that Jose has never addressed and fixed but this location we have had stale chips the last several times we have ate there for our nachos , we asked for light cheese sauce and this time we had no cheese and I have been getting grilled chicken verses shredded chicken for awhile now since Jose has told me to ask for that for the way I want my nachos done. I have never paid another price EVER. tonight I was charged for steak and was told by the girl that I need to be paying the steak price if I want grilled chicken . I said Jose has never charged me nor have ever been charged for steak . We just ate here about three weeks ago and never were charged for steak . We eat at the casino location every time we go play bingo . When I asked for a receipt she was rude about needing to get me a receipt .
If there is a up charge then it should be stated in the menu when for over a year I have never been charged for steak from Jose, managers , or any of their servers at ho chunk or baraboo until now .

We have eaten in every José even Adams County and Ho Chunk does it BEST. Great service and don't know why but food is prepared to excellence every time. Sorry Dells our new JOINT is HO CHUNK

Food was horrible. We have been going to Jose's for years nothing like the original food was cold and rubbery. Service was excellent. Packed us all close together when whole restaurant was open.

Horrible service, horrible food. Our waiter seemed like he had much better things to do. Like sit at the front desk. The chips were stale. The food tasted the same. Burrito, enchiladas nachos. All tasted the same. Bland. The ground beef looked like wet cat food. The taste was unbelievably nasty. Avoid this place.Follow up.The canned (probably like most of the food)response from the owner is exactly what you would expect. Premade and means nothing.

This is the ABSOLUTE best restaurant that I have EVER stepped foot in... the atmosphere is the most welcoming I've ever felt in a business, the staff is pure family and their guests are their family... The food is pure amazing and cooked so very fast n fresh.... they are the most amazing family... wonderful, wonderful people.... I recommend this place to anyone anywhere and I truly hope they franchise throughout the United States n beyond ... plz plz tip well as the hard work that goes into what they do it is more than deserved .
