Servers are amazing, 10/10 food

Terrible service.. walked up to the counter and said we had 2 people and was seated. Sat there with our menu for 5 minutes and a lady brought the chips and salsa to the table and the whole time was talking to another worker and never made eye contact with us or offered a drink. Waited 10 more minutes and finally flagged down a server. A guy came over and asked if we would like a drink and I said yes and we are ready to order. Why bring the spicy chips with nothing to drink even water??? We ordered our meal and it came quick. We were finished and the same lady that gave us the chips and salsa came and took our plates and I asked for the bill.. she said WAIT.. I’m like what? So we waited 10 more minutes and finally went to the counter to pay bc we didn’t get our bill… RuUUDDEE.. will never go back

My sister and I gave it a try for the second time yesterday; and we both got sick from the steak. First time the steak nachos were recommended by a relative and they were horrible- but I was Hungary, and Jose’s was the only place open. I threw up right after eating it. Then yesterday. August 10, 2026 I tried the steak burrito and my sister had the steak salad. My sister and I both got sick the whole next day! It started an hour or two after eating a half burrito. And my sister got sick after eating the steak salad. We know it is from Jose‘s since that’s the only thing we ate all day. I’m guessing there is something wrong with the steak there.

Quesadilla not cut, food took a long time to receive because they forgot about our order. Charged extra for to go containers.

The meat had no seasoning. The sauce tasted like tomato sauce.It charged me two dollars for 5 cents worth of hot sauce to make it taste good. Save your money go to taco bell

Miserable portions, 3 tortillas for a whole plate. The servers don’t even understand English to take an order, even in Spanish. I don’t recommend it.

Maria at Jose's is an absolute pleasure to interact with. Such a doll in the best possible way (spoken from one 'gal' to another).
Excellent service throughout my experience, and no question is a stupid question. Many fresh and good options to choose from on the menu. Just wish they had CocaCola from Mexico so I could dilute it with soda water myself. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to ALL synthetic food colorings/dyes/and non raw sugars. They let me make my own ginger ale-iced tea though which was perfect for my needs. The skirt steak entree was perfectly done and lasted me 2 more meals (taken home). Definitely, more than worth the cost for a petite chica like myself. Unless you're somebody who likes to gorge because you have a high metabolism, or you eat 'family styles as in sharing is caring, no one person really needs that much food in one sitting, just saying. And, sorry, not sorry.

Please don't pass by without telling them Nichelle from L.A., TX, and Saint Paul says 'hola!' or 'hey, girl/boy, hey!'

Tried to order a Margarita and they said no liquor. No biggie but it set the tone for the rest of the bland meal that was nothing special at all.
