Stopped in for lunch with grandparents since the log cabin across the street was too busy and we enjoyed the food and service very much.
This place used to be good, but its gone way downhill since the buyout unfortunately. Tonight the soda had no ice, about half carbonated, and tasted like mold. Most of the food had been there and mixed in with new food instead of just throwing out the old food and replacing it. The cost was outlandish for what options and the quality of those options. They added an automatic gratuity onto the bill. When my brother n law and I were sitting there complaining about all this, the server hears us plan as day, yet says absolutely nothing. We never once got an "how is everything" the entire time. It will be a long time before I return here, if ever. We will now be taking our business to Wok King or the Sauk Chinese. As a local, it's sad what it is becoming. The old owners never had these problems, and would have never have ignored a guest having an issue. I see on their Google reviews they also don't take the time to make it right with their customers that have bad experiences. Every single positive comment has a reply from the owner. All the negative feedback, they ignore, EVERY SINGLE ONE.

However, there are two concerns that could be remedied by management. Firstly, upon arrival at 11am., I was assigned a seat with a table that was notably unclean, appearing not to have been cleaned from the previous night. Secondly, I ordered two different beverages in separate cups, both of which contained small debris, indicating that the cleaning procedures for the machine require greater attention. These issues are addressable, and hopefully will be resolved appropriately.

Always a pleasant experience and very good food. If I have to explain why I give the food 4 stars instead of 5 stars it is quite simple, they put out too much and it can go cold, and this happens at too many buffets. Their weekend buffet is really good with lots of seafood selections.
