This place, may objectively be the world’s best ice cream parlor, I ordered, and would recommend you order the banana split. This comes with a full banana, three scoops of ANY flavor you want, multiple toppings, sauces, cherries and whip cream. This was around 11 dollars, great value inside of the wilderness, when you combine the convenience with the experience, mankind may never create a better adventure. My friends and I experienced euphoria. Thank you Pistol Pete.

The location was hard to find within the building, there is not a lot of room to wait in line without being in the walkway in people's way. The ice cream was way overpriced because of the convenience of being on-site. I watched the different employees make people's ice cream in different ways and different sizes as I waited for my order.
I thought, based on what I watched one employee do, that it was kind of like Coldstone where they chop up your topping and mix it in with the ice cream. Then the next order, it was kind of just 2 huge blobs of ice cream with the candy/ingredients barely mixed in and mostly on top, but they got a very large portion. I ordered the same size at that person, but my portion was much smaller. My reese's peanut butter cups were pressed on top of my ice cream with the employees gloved hand and drizzled with peanut butter sauce. It was never taken out of the container or mixed in in any way. It was definitely curious.
My wife got a shake which was also average at best. Just a normal chocolate shake, but it was $9. For my cup of ice cream and her shake it was right around $20... for average ice cream! You could make it in your hotel room better than this for WAY cheaper!
Overall, it was pretty average ice cream but the ridiculous price turned me off to it. Did not and will not go back.

Insanely overpriced.
Where to be begin? There were 3 issues to raise with a recent dinner my wife and I had at Pistol Pete’s. First was an inconceivable billing situation. Second would be what at best was a mediocre meal, and third was poor, almost rude service. I will address the billing issue first. My wife and I fully realize that independent restaurants and small retail businesses are being squeezed by credit card companies with percentage fees on all customer credit card transactions. That is why we took no issue whatsoever when we read the sign posted on our table stating that there would be an upcharge placed on the bill for credit card use. I immediately told my wife, “We’ll just pay in cash.” Actually even when using a credit at restaurants I like to tip in cash, being more certain wait staff and busboys receive the tip. Now to the presentation of the bill. When I requested our check the waitress never asked if I would be paying in cash or check. Upon receiving the check our bill showed the 2 fish fry dinners, 2 soft drinks, and a $2 “Convenience Fee.” The total bill included food, drink, convenience fee, and tax. I sought out our waitress and asked what was the $2 convenience fee for. She informed me that it was to cover the use of a credit, which I had no intent on using. The requested total payment excluding tip was $2 more than it was supposed to be. What was I to do? Pay 2 bucks extra and wait for the cash back, or pay 2 bucks less than the bill showed? Why don’t waitresses simply ask when the check is requested, “Will you be paying with cash or check?” That way the “Convenience Fee” would not show on the total bill of cash users. How many cash customers at Pistol Pete’s never catch the actual upcharge on the food and drink portion of their bill? Now to the food. My wife had the 5-piece beer battered cod. I had the 5-piece breaded Italian cod. Both of us ordered the potato pancakes. We both found the cod pieces somewhat dry. The potato pancakes were just okay: nothing special. The coleslaw with its hint horseradish was very good! I would call it an average fish fry. I think we got unlucky with our waitress. A bit after serving our dinners I asked for some additional tartar sauce. Instead of simply saying I will get some, she pointed at my wife’s’ small cup of tartar sauce and said, “Your wife has a full cup of tartar sauce.” She never did bring extra sauce, nor did she offer the free soft drink refills shown on the menu. A few times during the meal we felt we were inconveniencing our particular waitress. We heard the pleasant banter of other wait staff with customers. Ours coped an attitude. Pistol Pete’s has really gone downhill. We shall not return.
Best pizza - period. Don’t believe me - prove me wrong.
The ice cream was pretty mediocre but the kids didn't know any better and they enjoyed having some ice cream to end the day.
Super convenient to have a great ice cream spot inside the wilderness . They are expensive but it’s totally worth it. Ice cream taste great and the lines move quickly so your not waiting forever . The hours seem to vary depending on the season. Overall great experience and the staff is super nice
At first the place seems ok with pool players tv screens and people enjoying themselves but as the night moves on the darkness sets in big gangster people start to pull in with there speeding loud cars time to get out of that place drugs in the parking lot are being sold fights in and outside are happening once in a while they'll be a gunshot as this is the norm for this place.
First time there with Family from out of State.!! 8 of US with reservations!!Server acted as she was over worked, but I say it is her JOB to serve food!!Was (she) more bother for other tables those that were drinking then the people eating!! Don't plan on ever returning!!
Ordered 30 wings @ 27.55 but when the bill came they were almost $47! They said the cost of wings increased but they didn't have time to modify their menus. Who does that? I want to pay the price that is on the menu when I order not a surprise price later on! They apparently put some notes on the walls that only say the prices for wings increased. I didn't know I am supposed to read the walls, to assume that price in the menu is wrong and to guess the correct one. They were also short staffed, it took ages to the only waitress/bartender to get everyone's orders in. Not going there again!

friendly staff. tables were not set at all. had to ask for forks and knives. The prices are in the range of fine dining. This place is far from fine dining. They should stick to serving pizza only. wont go back. We dropped over $180.00 .Not worth it. Upon entering the place, we passed a very messy kitchen and a very messy stock room with a cute little dog roaming free.
We went with granddaughter-----we enjoyed food but waited for food to come from kitchen longer then normal--maybe the employee shortage we all hear about.--Our server PAIGE was very good and personable--overall good visit--NOTE--two sides to building--i side larger and has room for band and louder--other side smaller but much more quiet to eat. total bill was $37 plus tip---had 1 beer --1 coffee--1 extra size fish fry--1 kids meal--my wife has baked potato--mushrooms and side salad
