Have traversed to Baraboo for years and always saw this place, expected a classic Wisconsin dive and that’s what you get. This is definitely a local place as it was like a scene of a movie with a record stopping when we walked in. EVERYONE turned… however… they were kind and everyone was really polite and even moved down to accommodate our party which was really nice. The bartender was extremely, rough? I hate to say rough but she wasn’t very welcoming but she was attentive enough to make sure drinks didn’t sit empty and pull tabs got cashed out. A young guy came in to take over and he was extremely welcoming and polite, I’d like to come back when he’s the one running the show. Overall, the beer was cold, everyone was really cool and the prices were great. I’d be back even with the grouchy bartender who I half expected to be working at a place like this.

I've never written a bad review about a local business as I always try to support them but I can't sweep this one under the rug. Burger, chicken strips, and fries all tasted microwaved and were absolutely terrible. I hope they are somehow able to improve and if they do I will give them another try in the distant future.

Its a bar first grill second. Very basic and limited menu understandably, otherwise very nice hole in the wall.
Best fried cheese curds in Baraboo! Sit and the bar and enjoy the great service and note the beautiful back bar, imported from Europe many years ago.

A friend and I stopped in to have lunch at 1pm on a Monday. We were refused service and kicked out because I didn’t have my ID on me. Both of us are of age and only came in to have food, not to drink. 3 weeks prior my friend was at this establishment with an 8 year old, who was allowed to play pull tags and gamble on the machines. Yet we were kicked out for ordering water and asking for a menu. I will never be coming back here and will continue to share my experience with potential customers.
