GO HERE, food was phenomenal on the same tier as canes, Popeyes, Chik fil a, and restaurant’s alike. After reading the reviews I was apprehensive, but needless to say I was blown away, the chicken was so hot and crispy yet it was still juicy. Are food was slightly expensive but for the quality I’d gladly repurchase.

This Place is a joke. A sad Chicken Joint overlooking the wild west. As it a food place in the wild west my family gave it a try. At first everything seemed normal besides an extremely disrespectful waiter. After we got our food we noticed our food was very raw but since my little brother got his food first he'd already guzziled his chicken. At first we thought he mouth was bleeding but no it's was just some very raw chicken. We asked the manager for a refund but he refused and called us, "white trash". He also claimed there's not problem with the chicken and we where "overreacting". Anyways 30 mins later my brother was profusely puking in our room. To the point where we had to drive him to the local hospital for some help. In the last week he has lost 28 pounds of weight and can barely leave his bed.

This place has definitely gone down hills since it opened up.. I was so excited to come back here and eat only to be so disappointed.. The chicken was old and dry. The biscuits were old and hard...

Service was great, location and atmosphere is great. Food & value leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the 5 strip meal. My strips came out overcooked, dried and the size if fish sticks, not chicken fingers. The fries and chicken were both colored a medium brown due to the fryer oil not being clean on a regular basis. We took 2 adults and 3 kids here for a total of 11 chicken wings, fries with each meal and a wrap and it cost ~$75 for a meal worth probably $35. If these were chicken strips the size of and cooked like Culvers it would be worth it due to the close proximity.Only eat here if you are desperate not to leave the resort.

The food was hot and crispy, no line even though it's noon and our food was delivered to the table. Staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome.

I was excited to try this water park resort with my family to have some fun over a long weekend, but it was a bad experience all around and we left earlier than we originally planned. As soon as we got there, every employee we interacted with acted like they did not want to be there and made us feel like we were bothering them to get whatever service we needed. We thought we were getting a great deal with there unlimited fun passes, but the activities are short, shallow, and very poorly run. Also included were 36 arcade credits, which seemed adequate before coming, but then we discovered that most of the fun stuff costs 12 credits (the lowest games are 6). So you get about 10 min in the arcade and not enough tickets for anything without shelling out more money. All the food and drinks are overpriced, but the big offender is the quick pick up locations. The food has a huge mark up and was always cold. The lines for the waterslides were long and inefficient (employees not caring as mentioned above) and the water was colder than expected and led to less time spent in the water than planned. The very worst part of the stay was at least twice an hour minimum all the extremely loud people walking down the hallways would aggressively try to open the door to our room and/or loudly knock on the door. This is at all hours and even in the middle of the night. It is very jarring and kept me up awake most of the night. There are so many other options in the wisconsin dells, don’t come here.

OK, I was very unsure about this idea of "hotel with indoor waterparks"... but wow, this was a great family vacation and would do it again at this same property. The rooms in the section we used (New Frontier) are set up reasonably well, with easily 3 beds, and more if you upgrade to a bigger suite-type. Guest services are extremely rapid in their response. There ARE constant upsells (like the daily call to my room asking if I wanted to come take a tour of their timeshare properties), but everything else, from needing more blankets to needing towels to the quality of the room itself were excellent. They have many entries to the building, and all are equipped with luggage carts and elevators. There is great signage that a kid can easily read. The room keys (and room charges, unfortunately) are all done by magnetic wristbands, so your kids can shuttle themselves back and forth from the room. The lifeguards are on the ball -- one of my littles decided to go into the deep end while I was in the restroom, and she was promptly rescued! There is generally pretty good seating available in all the parks, you do NOT need to spring for a cabana, though you do want to get there earlier to get a good table near the water or with an umbrella. The best part is that it's just such a low stress vacation. If you want to, you don't need to leave the property at all on a given day. Just let them run back and forth between parks and eat the terrible on-property food. Which is overpriced, but it;s like a 10-20% markup, not a 100% markup. (Exception: alcohol. The poolside mixed drinks are an extreme ripoff, as they are frozen beverages that are mostly ice.) I insisted on getting off property for meals and fresh air, but when we come back, I will give my kids a day when they genuinely can just veg. Officially, you can't bring in your own food and you are supposed to buy all their overpriced stuff. It looks like their actual policy is that if you have a few sandwiches and chips and such for your kids in your swim bag, they're not going to throw them out, but if you show up with a crock pot or carry in someone else's pizza, you're going to get asked to take it away. I saw plenty of families with small coolers and brought-in bottles of water, gatorade, or soda. I will say that most of our visit was NOT on a weekend. We left on Saturday, and we were glad we did -- on that day, the lines for all the slides became awful. So I think this is best done as a midweek trip.

We stayed in a Frontier condo. The spaces were good for our family. It was really showing its wear though. There was no fan above the stove & the paint on ceiling was bubbling & grungy. The soap holder on the dishwasher was broken. The jets didn’t work on the tub. Light bulbs were burnt out. Knob on shower was ready to fall off, door didn’t shut right. Long walk to anything with small kids. Not enough washcloths & didn’t know what to do with stinky garbage. We got to Wilderness on the Lake & they wanted a towel card, which we never received. Kids had fun though. Will probably choose a different place next time.
