This was a perfect experience! The surroundings were lovely. We chose to sit inside. It was cozy and modern with a wonderful view of the property.
We picked 8 different tastes between our two flights. Some cider and wine, including a bubbly of each. A tasty charcuterie board including cheeses we had never tried before.
The owner was delightful and informative. If we weren’t off to Canada we would have purchased more bottles!
This was the Cidery to choose!
Place pretty nice, relaxing. Had outside live music which was good l. Charcuterie board was gluten free... Really nice. Wine was okay...I had the sweeter wines. Other person in our party had dry. But just didn't find any to bring home this time. Service was excellent. Might go again when in the area and try some different wines.
Delicious wines and ciders with complex flavors that evolve throughout the sip. Trust the tasting notes provided when choosing. We loved everything we had and were especially impressed by the wines with estate grown grapes; the maple cider was our favorite.
A must stop for anyone visiting the area.
Cute little winery.
Reds where ok. But whites where well made and flavorful
The wines were good though some were a little oakey for my taste. Really nice people working there, very helpful.
Great wine choices
My absolute favorite winery. The owner is the kindest person and the atmosphere is just incredible. I love the view, the music, and the wine!! You cannot miss going here- a definite must!
Over the last four years we've visited Bayfield Winery with our young children. Each time the owner, Phil, and his staff welcome us. It is a quieter atmosphere inside, lots of open space out (when the weather permits). Wines are locally produced so you won't experience the flavor profile of a Napa Cab, but you'll experience terrior and passion from a family owned business. Lot 25 is an example of this passion and hyper local fruit- my favorite. Ciders have become a favorite of my spouse with their naturally fermented profile and easy finish. Kombucha on tap is a favorite for the kids; cheese/crackers are a fun snack to share. Definitely worth a try when on the Peninsula. Go in with an open mind to trying regional wine and cider and you won't be disappointed!
Had a great experience with visiting this winery. Customer service was excellent, and the wine was just as good.
Great presentation of flight of ciders and wines. Friendly staff. Reasonable expense. However, ciders were more like kombucha with a pronounced punky overripe taste. I was very disappointed in the sparkling pear (downright undrinkable) and the supposedly more robust red which was far from flavorful.

Stopped to taste the cider, which was delicious. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a nice chat while enjoying the ginger cider. A great place to stop.
Great place to enjoy some amazing wines and ciders. It's on our must-visit list every time we go to Bayfield.

Hands down the best atmosphere in WI! I love this place and it goes well beyond the best wine available. The owners are amazing and they strive to make this place feel like a family. Great wine, awesome people and a must see gem in Bayfield!
