Love the local character of this hole-in-the-wall place in downtown BD. This place has been around for decades and the interior is a testament to that. A quirky mix of a diner and a bar. Actually somewhat confusing given all of the TVs for watching sports, the booze and the beer. You'd think it would be open into the wee hours but no it closes at 2pm! Odd. Everyone was a local there except for us - we were the only ones who needed a menu! The banter between the staff and the patrons was entertaining. A real hoot. I ordered a chili cheeseburger which was pretty good. My wife ordered a bowl of chili and a grilled cheese. Both were solid though the chili is more like a chili soup than a typical beefy chili. Lots of beans and good flavor. I am glad places like this are still around - a real historical gem.

Small Local owned Hole in the wall but Great food, Nice Owners, and YEARS of Good business
Today we had some amazing food!!! We started with some coffee and conversation. Order the country bacon, (2 eggs, potatoes and bacon). The food filled the large plate, toast was family style. Service was great and if you go a couple of times they know your name!!!! Definitely need to hit for breakfast and lunch!!!

Ordered a rueben sandwich and got mainly a sour kraut with American cheese sandwich!! Only had a tiny amount of corned beef on the corner of the rye bread! Will not be back!!
