“Excellent brewhouse! Beer is unique with many varieties. The Holla is a jalapeno brew with no heat, just great flavor. Bartender very friendly and helpful in guiding me to the perfect brew.”

“Fish fry is amazing. I had the flounder. They make their own Tartar sauce which is SO good. They also make their own pickles, and breading for the fish and coleslaw.... service was pretty good.”

“We were shopping at Warehouse 151 and spent too much time shopping, so we decided to grab a bite before heading home. There's not much to look at from the outside, but don't let that stop you! This place is a gem! Cute diner vibe. Prompt seating, extremely fast service and HUGE portions for around $10-12. Most everything comes with soup or salad and a side. You just can't beat it. It's a must stop.”

“Our first time here. We were a little confused because we lined up in front of the Order Here sign, but the locals politely told us to start at the other end. The coffee and Kick Start sandwich were both delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip through town.”

“Love the local character of this hole-in-the-wall place in downtown BD. This place has been around for decades and the interior is a testament to that. A quirky mix of a diner and a bar. Actually somewhat confusing given all of the TVs for watching sports, the booze and the beer. You'd think it would be open into the wee hours but no it closes at 2pm! Odd. Everyone was a local there except for us - we were the only ones who needed a menu! The banter between the staff and the patrons was entertaining. A real hoot. I ordered a chili cheeseburger which was pretty good. My wife ordered a bowl of chili and a grilled cheese. Both were solid though the chili is more like a chili soup than a typical beefy chili. Lots of beans and good flavor. I am glad places like this are still around - a real historical gem.”

“Not Statz Ale House anymore.It's called Sauers old fashioned Pub and Grill.We did take out and the burgers are excellent.Bar tender are friendly, and right on it.The food came out super fast.It wasn't real busy Sunday night but dang it was good.Parking: When busy, parking is a mess.”

“This place is incredible. It’s inexpensive so definitely worth the $8 to order some momos and see what they’re all about. We also ordered two different curry dishes and samosas. You can order spicy or mild. We got everything spicy and it was hot but very flavorful. We will definitely be back!”

“Local bar that has live music, and occasionally, a very good touring act. We saw Jared James Nichols and Cage Willis and were impressed with the production Stormy's put on for the show. Sound and lighting were fantastic, bar staff friendly and efficient, facilities more than adequate, and I left with money iny pocket because they don't charge $12 for a beer like Milwaukee places!!! Thanks! We'll keep watching for future shows!”

“My waitress was excellent, I feel terrible, she needs recognition. She's a red head.She was considerate, made sure I had everything, and kept checking on me.I want to take her to any restaurant I go to.Food is awesome, full of flavors, cooked to perfection and enough to fill you and not stuff you.The cook knew what he is doing.I like the atmosphere, tables are spaced, not crowded, some kind of privacy, and the place had lots of people and it wasn't loud and disturbing.I have never given any restaurant this kind of review.
