I was honestly surprised by this bar. I had heard loads of terrible things and had an image in my mind of a dirty, grimy bar....I was pleasantly surprised to find this wasn't the case. Very clean! You can't blame a bar of all places for the people who frequent it, and the crowd can be a tad rough, but Johnny is always there to make sure things run smoothly.
I had a blast at johnny's lounge tge bartenders are always so friendly. the owner is always smiling the food is great and the prices are great as well! its a great atmosphere and local place to go hang out and have some drinks. Johnny has also had professional wrestling.

Stopped in from Chicagoland area, the reviews are true! Excellent Burgers and onion rings, Great view of the lake and nice atmosphere.Bartender was there by himself and still handled all the cooking, drinks, etc!Make sure your bring cash, but they also have an ATM.
