“Best pizza I have ever eaten. The wait might take a while but the pizza is freshly made to order. the building has a lot of history to it, ask the owners and they will gladly talk about it. It feels like such a family oriented business. I even enjoyed the tiny napkins, took me back to the olden days (they do have paper plates if you ask for them tho.)”

“Didn't know it was carryout only, but we came from Beaver Dam, and wanted to try it anyway. We were not disappointed! I have to say that this was one of the most delicious meals I've had in a long time. I got the chicken with green beans, and it was simple (in a good way), fresh, and very tasty. So many times I've ordered Chinese dishes elsewhere, and they have a lot of "filler" ingredients and veggies that weren't on the menu. That's not the case here. It was just fresh tasting green beans, delicious tender chicken, and a yummy mildly spicy sauce. Simple and perfect. My partner also liked what he ordered (Kung Pow), and I think their egg rolls are some of the best I've had, as well. This little place is an unassuming hidden gem, and Horicon is lucky to have a restaurant like this!”

“This is one of my favorite places to go , they still have the seafood sub at this location and they made my sub just the way I loved it , it was wonderful !!! And all the toppings are always on the sub perfectly and make the sub look so delicious !!! The picture that I posted has all the toppings on except lettuce and pickles and it looks beautiful !!! There is a nice and friendly service where they greet you as you come in , even if you are not ready to order yet , which I find super cool. They also have the soda machine and deli juice machine well stocked up and practice good , clean atmosphere , cleaning tables and washing hands after they have cleaned. Also they take the safety of food handling very serious, by wearing gloves , that is is so awesome and different than most places I eat , I love how careful they are to serve the food so delicately like a real high quality deli. They have plenty of seating and a nice big parking lot for customers to park. There are bathrooms to accommodate your visit and are clean and always available for use. I LOVE SUBWAY !!! <3 :)”

“It's often hard to find a good latte in and around the small towns of Wisconsin but you can find it at The Open Door. The service is always welcoming and prompt. plenty of space if you decide to have your beverage in house or take a stroll by the water nearby. Food is available, pastries and other snacks as well. Bulk coffee can be purchased too. Hot or Iced grab that coffee at the Open Door next time you are in Mayville!”

“It was our first time the 5 of us really enjoyed everything, except it was really busy and loud. Someone had a birthday party that was just starting to leave when we got there. We will be coming back, but we will wait until it warms up outside so we can eat outside.”

“4 of us came from Madison to experience the Friday Fish Fry. We each got the Fisherman's platter. The amount of food that you got was enough to share with another person! The best sides were the potatoe pancakes and the German potatoe salad. Very good old fashioned! Service was fast and friendly. Definitely going back!”

“My son suggested I stop here on my visit. This little restaurant was a very welcome surprise. Easy to park and a decent amount of seating. The staff was awesome and very welcoming and pleasant. All of my food was excellent, flavorful not greasy and the portions are plenty at a very fair price. Highly recommend frequenting this local establishment.”

The food was fantastic ( order small for yourself if you have little kids cause you will have leftovers). If there's room for sweets and desserts, try the apple cinnamon wonton wraps. You won't be disappointed by anything on the menu. And if you don't get there in the cold season for their chili, be sure to get there during late summer for the cheesy kohlrabi soup. “The first time I had food here was a pizza, I was under the impression that was all they did because I Googled for restaurants and Google made it sound like it was only a pizza place so I got confused when I walked in and found it was a bar that serves pizza. They only have thin crust, which I don't care for, but the flavors were good, and the only reason why I don't get more pizza from here is the fact that they only have thin crust, I did recently go back and try the stake sandwich and it was also delicious, they should advertise the other food besides pizza they have.”
