My wife and I met up with two other couples at the Feed Mill in beautiful Knowles, Wi. We chose the establishment based on location since it was centered between our homes in Appleton, Madison and Waldo. They were moderately busy at lunch time on a Wednesday, but our orders for both food and drinks were taken quickly. We all chose sandwiches off of their extensive menu. Bar & Grill look. Service off appetizers came late since they did not read the ticket right. Prime rib w wild rice soup & Texas chili great. I had shredded pork w bourbon sauce over homemade mac&cheeses. oh, so good. Another had a taco on Indian bread she almost ate it all & that's saying another for her at one sitting. The bartender Tommy was average at being great. Kidding. He knew what the kids wanted and had kiddie cocktails all lined up for them, including extra cherries for my daughter. The food was fantastic ( order small for yourself if you have little kids cause you will have leftovers). If there's room for sweets and desserts, try the apple cinnamon wonton wraps.
