“Met my daughters in what turned out to be Knowles, WI(halfway point between Milwaukee and Oshkosh)…We chose a restaurant off the beaten path called the Feedmill Bar and Grill…It had a 4.6 rating on Google so how bad could it be? , right? Despite the “Children of the Corn” vibe I got driving there…and the out-of-the-way nature of the place…I couldn’t have been more pleased and impressed with this little gem…We each had something different from the expansive menu(Navajo Taco, Philly Steak Sandwich with Waffle Fries and German Potato Salad, Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese and a BLT with homemade chips and deep fried pickles with a dill dipping sauce…not only was the food delicious and I suspect scratch made, it was as delivered to our table by a delightful women who shared stories and pleasantries along with our sodas and entrees…if you have to be on I41 near Lomira, WI it would be well worth your time to deviate from the fast-food offerings and visit the Feedmill Bar and Grill…make sure to bring your appetite because the servings are not small…”

“I’m not much of a MCDs person, however my kids are. We travel alot between Milwaukee and Shawano. My kids were hungry and decided to stop here and also gas up across the street. I had a sweet tea and the kids ordered food. Wow! I can tell you that there’s a huge difference with the taste and quality here . So , we have been back a few more times and it’s consistent. The food is always freshly made. Yes, for fast food …this location is def a go to. Also, very friendly staff and they engage in small talk.”

“Cannot recommend this pizza place highly enough! We were camping in Dundee and coming back from Fond Du Lac, and hunting for the best rated pizza to take back for our campfire. Look no further than this place! The homestyle crust is garlicy and buttery, with a nice mix of chewiness and crispiness. The sausage pieces are generous, pizza came out fast but perfectly done. The folks there are very nice, and it feels like a popular destination for many miles around. I'm a pizza lover and this place is the best for my money in the area!”

The food was excellent and the owners and employees were kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated our bartender Christopher who provided great service while engaging everyone at the bar.
