Parking: There is a parking lot across the street from Schmitty's, as well... If the main parking lot is packed (usually is), then most people will park across the street.”

“Absolutely thrilled to have had such a great experience and amazing gluten free / dairy free fish fry. I messaged the business a week before our visit, and the response was quick and very polite and assuring about my food allergies. When I arrived at the restaurant, Ry came up to the front counter to discuss my options and he went ABOVE and beyond to accommodate and make me THE MOST delicious GF/DF fish fry!!! My husband had the Cajun walleye and loved it too. So grateful for the accommodations and the friendly staff. BRAVO!!!”

“The food is great!! I have had the 1/2 naked curds, fried pickle chips, southwest rolls (YUM), taco salad, taco wrap, BBQ Mac & cheese and the bacon and ranch chicken wrap. The food is the reason I come back. Hence, the 5 stars.

My experience with the service is not so great. I have ordered pick-up 10+ times now since November 2023, when I moved in right across the street from them. When I pick up my orders, I go to the bar, and the bartender/bartenders assist me. Service is terrible outside of them taking my payment and giving me my food. No greetings, no smiles, and very small talk if they can help it. So usually, this doesn't bother me enough to write a review until this last visit.
*I have had maybe 2 positive interactions out of all the times I have ordered*

8/11/24 after 9 pm Sunday. I call in my order of 1/2 naked curds, fried pickle chips and southwest rolls.
* I got this virtual gift card that I can only use on Google Pay, so I ask if I can pay over the phone. The lady says no because of policy... I ordered the night before, and whoever took the order did that.* No big deal. It is fine because I can pay in person, so I go to pick up my food and go up to the counter and let them know I was there to pick up my order. It is not busy at all, I need to mention.

Lady with brown curly hair, I did not get a name, took my payment, and gave me my food, and that was it! And what I mean by that was it, no hello, no have a good night, no smile, no interactions what so ever which was odd because I was actually trying to talk to her. I had tried to tell her, and I quote, " The reason I asked over the phone if I could pay over the phone was because I ordered last night, and they took my payment that way." Google pay.. virtual gift cards....COMPLETELY ignored me. She made eye contact.
So she gave me my reciept, and as she walked away, i was trying to tell her that i wanted to leave a tip, but because the transaction went through, i was not able to. COMPLETELY ignored again. I didn't know why I was unable to leave a tip, I was kinda asking her. I even said hey I'm asking a question to her and another lady with dark, longer hair, and glasses who, at this point, were more or less in front of me." COMPLETELY ignored me. They did make eye contact. Again, I did not get names. I got a picture of the second lady but won't post here. I was absolutely shocked. The lady with the brown curly hair handed me my order, and I did not say thank you this time as I would normally have.

I am used to being treated not so customer friendly from here, which I should not feel to begin with, but on 8/11/23, it was that bad. I wrote on my receipt that was left on the bar bad service, and they never smile. I'm sure IF they even noticed they had a laugh, but honestly, I wanted to say a lot more. I don't expect a lot for customer service, I'm not one of those. A smile goes a long way, a hi, at the least. But you completely ignored me.

I do want to say thank you to the cooks ( THE FOOD IS GREAT) and the other servers and staff who do not represent the colosseum in the way that I experienced on this particular day.

Unfortunately, I myself will not call in for pick-ups or pick up my orders anymore. I will have my daughter instead, but I can assure you that she won't be as tolerant and patient as myself if she has the same experiences. I hope that this reaches someone who might take action to at least speak about how customer service should be to the employees that may not have the best skills that they so much need in this sort of job!

“This was our first visit to this new restaurant. In my opinion it was like a breath of fresh air for fond du lac. Friendly excellent food quality, well maintained. Fried Chicken was the best I've ever had. Part of our group had pizza and they enjoyed it as well. Had the cheese curds in the French bread on the side they were also well done and very tasty. Cheese curds were not overly breaded. The French bread was not overly done with garlic. They have Pepsi products and their selection of beers are excellent. We would rate it five stars and will return again”

The prices are at or below the local average (well, the average of what I've paid). The music is played via the jukebox and it's a mixture so there's sure to be something for EVERYONE!!!”

“A coworker of my husband’s bragged about these amazing burritos and after losing a friendly bet, said coworker had to buy some burritos. He did and husband brought them home one night. Never told us the name just that it was close to downtown. While out and about today, we decided to look for these mysterious burritos. Thankfully we found them and were so happy! These burritos are not your typical American size - there is 2-3 meals in one. They are AMAZING!!! Service was good and friendly too. Will be back again!”

Not sure, but they are fine that we brought Subway in to eat for lunch. Then they had some free crock pot food for sandwiches during March Maddness games at night. I hope it was free, because I didnt pay. I think it was pulled pork. Maybe chicken? Not sure, things were slightly blurry by then. If it was not supposed to be free, Rodger, please send me the bill. We played a lot of pool. Some older gentelmen schooled us. The owner Rodger played us too and was very good. Im pretty sure the crockpot food was free.”

“There is plenty to do here! I usually start on the first floor with a couple drinks, then move to the 2nd floor to play some pool, and then hit the dance floor on the 3rd floor. One of the favorite bars for sure.”

I had the baked cod (very good), my daughter had the shrimp platter ( lots of shrimp and tasted like homemade cocktail sauce, very good) my husband had what they called a shrimp sizzler, ( good but sauce could of been a little thicker). Overall, everything was good, from the bartender to the waitress. Very friendly staff. Even the owner came to our table to ask how everything was. That is very rare nowadays and very much appreciated. We will be back.”

“Just absolutely hands down love this subway on pioneer. Came here just because it was closest subway from where we were at. Wasn’t expecting anything. Just another subway in this town. First time going there my daughter who was all hyper as she’s 7 and has a lot of energy I just got done with a long day of work and exhausted the young lady was so kind and patient believe her name is Ellie(sure I spelt it wrong and I’m terrible with names) to find out she’s the manger’s daughter. Went back again just because of that experience and ended up with Whitney the other daughter and then met the general manger. Even the staff has always been so nice. Never had a bad service. They remember us, Whitney even helps me remembers what I get for my daughter as I sometimes forget. I love that I walk in there even after not going in there for a while and they remember you, talk to you like you are family not a customer. All friendly staff. It’s hard keeping staff now a days but even seeing young kids actually working just refreshing. It shows what kind of manger they have there. I think some of the other stores need to take a lesson from this store. Hands down won’t go to any other subway. I have found our forever subway. Thank you Shannan, Whitney and the staff for making us feel special. As long as Shannan and Whitney are there we won’t go to any other subway.”

“They are my go-to place for Chinese cuisine. It is always pick-up because no one delivers out my way but they are quick in making your order. Their House Fried Rice is to die for, and I order it every time, as well as the Crab Rangoon.

Frantically searching my back seat and coming up empty handed (while also panicking where it could be) I told the drive thru lady to quit making my order. She was so kind and generous and they still gave me my order and told me “it happens to the best of us, I hope your day gets better.” I’m completely taken aback! “O'Davey's Pub in Fondy is a really good bar and definitely deserves 5 stars. I didn't go here for food, I just wanted to see what they had to offer for drinks, and check out their Internet. They had a decent crowd that was friendly, the bartender was a great guy, and they were very inexpensive. And if you're into Bloody Mary's, you must try one of theirs because they're pretty awesome. I go to a lot of different places all the time, but I'll definitely be back to O'Davey's. Highly recommended.”

The general taos chicken was flavorful and some of the best I have had lately from places closer by. My only recommendation would add some spice and water chestnuts. The dumplings were absolutely delicious and crab ragoons had just the right amount of filling. The chicken fried rice that came with our general taos was some of the best I have ever had. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for Chinese. Will definitely return.”
