“Ok. My backstory first.Drive past this place every week, and have noticed it prior to driving past every day for work. Been on the buckelist for some time.We go in today, packed in a great way. All the patrons were very orderly and courteous with new faces coming in. Invited us to the bar to get an old fashioned, and helped us out with the process: You order a drink and say you want to order, and they will find you. We were skeptical, but sure schnitzel, they found us to order. Drinks were great with an amazing offering, and pretty great beer selection as well.Food: Amazing staff handling thr seating, and offering suggestions. Love the sweet tooth integration with orders (have to visit to see what I mean). Spot on Fritters to start?!?!?! Strawberry soup?? Think the cold slurry that is the best part of a strawberry Sunday. Unexpected, but great! Steak was a great cut and prepared exactly how I ordered- chef recommendation. My wife got the perch, which was light and amazing as well. To finish, we got the pistachio cheesecake. What. The. Heck. Amazing. VERY well done- kudos to the female chef that was on the edge thinking it was too sweet, from what we heard...Been on the buckelist for some time, glad we stopped and will be back.Thank you folks, and CHEERS!”
“First time eating at Paula's pub and grill. The food was amazing, I had their prime rib. I asked for medium rare. It was more towards the medium to medium well, however it was very tender, very juicy and packed full of great flavor , by far one of the best prime ribs i've ever had . Customer service was almost too good if makes sense. Someone was checking on us every few minutes which could be a nuisance to some. However, they were very polite. Just wanted to make sure we have everything we want at all times or drinks being refilled at all times. After we were done eating but gentlemen who I would assume runs the bar ask my daughter if she would like a treat, he took her Joe basket of candy and allowed her to pick out whatever she wanted. I thought that was amazing and very kind. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because although it's winter it was a little colder inside then we liked. But overall Paula's pub and grill was amazingKid-friendliness: Before arriving I did call to make sure I could have my child with me who is under the age of 10 The lady that answered the phone told me I could once arrived. We sat down and that gentleman who again I assume runs. The bar came up to me and had a nice little chat about how they're welcoming to children even though it's set up more towards a bar then a pub and grill. They do have seating in the back for dining.”
“The food was very delicious. All the people were very friendly and helpful. Pizza were hand made and very delicious. Great place to visit and have fun. Thank you for the wonderful time.”
“I am not a wings fan, but I fell in LOVE with Tommy J's wings! You gotta ask for the bone-in wings that are NOT on the menu. A best kept secret. Also, the Reubens sandwich is to die for. The new owners put a lot of thought and care into the quality of the food. This is a comfortable, clean Wisconsin tavern in the Holyland. Fun special events and a great place to meet up with friends! OMG I almost forgot about the fried mushrooms - wow!”
“Classic Wisconsin supper club. Have a drink at the bar and the waitress takes your order at the bar. Nice views of the lake and sunset during dinner. Everything was great!”
“Always consistently fresh food. Breakfast has some healthy options that are just not available anywhere else. My daughter loves their iced coffee and chai seasonal offerings.”
“My new place for fish, had the bluegills and there were 6 big pieces, very good and the prices are good also.very nice young girl bartender that was there if you needed something, buzzy for lunch but was still fast”
“The perch was delicious and piping hot when delivered to our table. My hubby loved his 12 ounce tenderloin with sautéed mushrooms and onions! Salad bar was amazing, too! We highly recommend!!?”
“Shake Joe himself made my drink and the food came pretty quickly. Was really good. Very nice experience to some people from out of town. My friend hates bars but walked out of there feeling happy and like we'd come back even though we live an hour and a half away.”
“Urban Fuel has such a cozy atmosphere! Their coffees are delicious and so out their treats and meals. It’s a favorite to take out of town guests to with a unique use of barn wood preserving the history of the building. They have board games to sit and enjoy something fun while you sip a coffee!”
“Always a busy place. The reason why is the service and the food is amazing. I was sitting at the end of the bar where all the take out orders were going out and was blow away. I was in no hurry and watching all the orders come out, I thought it may be awhile for food. I was wrong. Normal wait and my multiple bartenders were there taking care of me and make sure I had everything I wanted. If you hate crowds get the carry out! If you don’t mind take the time to slow down and just enjoy the music and the great service! I will be back! The Bluegill was great!”
“Excellent place! Are group stopped here while snowmobiling and we couldn't be happier with the food! Excellent bartender's and server's! We will be back”
“Parking lot packed, yet we were seated immediately, even with large gymnastic groups there / coming in to eat. Drinks brought rapidly, food was prompt and it all hit the spot.”
“My Parents 50th wedding anniversary was there yesterday and I can not say enough about the wonderful staff and AMAZING food! Marcus and Katie went above and beyond to make sure everything was just perfect. So many compliments on the food from all the guests. Thank you Thank you to them and all the staff!!”
“Classic Wisconsin Supper Club. Stiff drinks, great salad bar and outstanding entrees. If you didn't know it was there you'd drive right by it, the only indication of the deliciousness inside is the consistently full parking lot. Sure, there are a lot of supper club options in the area, do yourself a favor and make Roepke's your regular stop.”
“Great little country bakery with good food and friendly ownersIf for any reason you are not happy with your purchase be sure to let them know and they will gladly try to make things rightSatisfaction ”
“Today we had our retirement party at the Red Cabin in the fireplace lounge. From start to finish, everything was excellent! The food was perfectly prepared, and the staff was out of this world professional! Outstanding service! This is the best place to go to have your event or party. Well done everyone at Red Cabin! Thank you!”
“I have always wanted to stop here while driving back and forth to Lake Winnebago for fishing. This is a quintessential WI bar. Comfortable vibe, friendly people, and very clean for an older place. My hubby and I split the chili. It definitely tasted homemade and had elbow noodles, which I like in chili. The burgers were really good! They don't have all the fancy toppings but seasoned well and juicy, yum. We each had a pint of Miller Lite and the bill was only $22! I'll definitely be back!”
“Great place! Dylan,Jeff, Tina and all the staff are the best. Great bourbon and spirit selection tops it off for an after dinner drink experience or before and after.”
“My drink was fine, but ordered a Vente. By the time I pulled out and actually got a drink I realized it was quite light. Took the cover off and it was 3/4 full. Why? I wasn’t turning around that line was a mile long and I needed to be somewhere. Already sat in line over 15 minutes. Please don’t short your beverages. Grafton gave me a full one the day before.”
“Great bar! Went to shoot some pool and get to meet some cool regulars! Bar tender was great and the pool table and sticks are in good condition. Look forward to going back.”
“Always good food...Parking: The Culvers we go to can be hard to park at... There is enough parking but when you try to leave there is usually the drive thru line blocking your way... and sometimes the drive thru lane is so long you have to wait to even pull into the parking lot...”
“Second time here and it was just as good! The service was good, drinks were cold and food looked great although we didn’t stay to try any. I’d love to come back and dine-in. Fun stop in a not so far away town!”
“The best poor man's lobster and German potato salad I've had in a looooong time! Reasonable price and generous servings! Def will be going back... wanna try the homemade pizza!”
“Good salsa, with fresh tomatoes and veggies added. Guacamole was delicious. Food was basically good. My only ‘complaint’ is that the food not all “picante’ - NO spice and not much flavor. Kind of dull for a Mexican place. Maybe it’s because of FondduLac wanting it that way, but I used to go to Casa de Tequila and they had spice. In Arizona, a lot of places make a Red sauce picante, and green more mild…but I’d encourage you to add SOME spiciness to your food. Without it, it’s pretty dull and not flavorful. Or make a part of menu with picante food, traditional Mexican, not all Gringo Mexican. Otherwise your food was good….but mas picante!!!!!Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair users. Two people using wheel chairs were there when we were!”
“Cozy little bar with a nice selection of whiskey. It was surprisingly busy on an early Friday afternoon. The bartender was a superhero taking care of everyone with a smile on her face.”
“Cayden was freaking awesome, I haven’t had service like that at Michelin star restaurants. I mean the food is always subway quality but he made the experience fun and I will definitely be going back specifically because of him. Someone get that man a raise”
“First time there today and will definitely be back. The two employees working today were so nice and friendly. I tried the seasonal Lucky Leprechaun and it was delicious.”
“Hard to get a spot a the bar but got our drinks eventually. Hostess was quick to get our order and wasn't long before the table was ready. Food was all good and there was plenty of it.”
