“Awesome reception for my 1st visit. I immediately knew the food was amazing. Noon on a weekday and everyone had food. For once my search for best steak sandwich was absolutely correct.”
“Really nice little corner diner. We’ve been there a few times and their breakfast are delicious! The omelets are big and tasty. The waitresses there are also a hoot and make breakfast out a fun time. Defiantly worth stopping here again!”
“Amazing experience! First of all I will say this place in the middle of nowhere gets BUSY! We got there at about 3:30ish. With that being said, the process in which they get your drinks and take your food order is effective and the food is well worth the wait. When we entered practically every seat at the bar was taken. We found the hostess station and gave her our name and got menus. We were able to find a couple of seats at one of the tables near the bar. After you decide what you want you set your menu upright on the table. Within 2 or 3 minutes a waitress came by and took our order and said it would be about 45 minutes before our food would be ready and they would call our name over the speakers. We enjoyed some good strong Old Fashions while we waited and watched a ton of people come streaming in. At about the 45 minute mark our name was called and we left an extremely crowded bar and went to a dining area where our salads bread and relish tray were already waiting for us. Shortly after our calamari appetizer arrived then our prime ribs. They were amazing! I have to say the prime rib was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was friendly and attentive our drinks were brought out quickly by our waitress. My wife had the peanut butter pie for dessert and I had the brownie sundae. Both were good. I highly recommend eating here for a great supper club experience.”
“Great little country bakery with good food and friendly ownersIf for any reason you are not happy with your purchase be sure to let them know and they will gladly try to make things rightSatisfaction ”
“I was in there tonight... on crutches with a broke foot. When I went to leave The Juan offered to help me out so I didn’t have to crawl out (snow and ice is scary on crutches)... he decided to cradle carry me to our truck! Thank you so much... no bartender will ever top that!”
“Stopped in today, such great service n friendly staff!!! Very pleased with everything! Can't wait to come back for another visit ?.Very grateful on how well they treated my daughter with disabilities!!! Good to see a place with good family morals.Thank you Soo much!”
“Review on bar only, but I hope to revisit for dinner at some point. Great service. All employees had such positive attitudes and seemed to really enjoy working together.”
“Twisted Tap has some of the best bar food I've ever had. Their burgers are the best around. The owners and staff are friendly and engaging. Great place, great prices and great people.”
“?OMG THESE COOKIES ARE GOLD!!!☺️I'm gotta plan a trip to WI to get some more! Wow I'm glad I found their circular business card/schedule from the taste of Chicago! Otherwise these delicious cookies would've been a sweet memory lost to the dark channels of time. I desperately wish I could order some online I and everyone I know would be thier regular junkies, oh well maybe someday...”
“Came here with a friend for a quick bite to eat. Enjoy the small town bar feel where everyone is nice? Then this is a great place to try! A horseshoe bar and a few tvs make for a social experience. There are also pull tabs and four or five gaming machines.Food was alright, ordered a medium burger, but it was cooked well. Dissapointing for there not being many people in there. Mini tacos were decent, and so was the salsa that came with it. Fries were nothing special but good.Overall, if you enjoy a small town bar and grill, then this is a good place to try!”
“Best fish tacos ever! Service was attentive and they really try to give you a great dining experience. Portions are generous and nice and hot. Definitely will come again!”
“The service was so so today an it was slow with 2 people working they didn’t ask if I wanted it toasted just what meat an vegetables had to tell them everything ”
“We few friends of mine and I drove from out of town to try this place based off a recommendation. We were blown away!!! The service was incredible. All the food was delicious. The hanger steak was the most tender steak I've ever tasted. More than worth the drive.”
“It was delicious I got the spicy skillet w/bacon instead of sausage. It was excellent!! Fast, coffee was on point. Fresh avocado, warm bakery bread. Can’t ask for better! ?Parking: Plenty of parking around the whole building.Kid-friendliness: Family breakfast”
“This is one of the best restaurants in Elkhart Lake, no lie. Elkhart Lake, in general, is a sleeper town for great food. That's what I discovered when I visited last fall. There are so many amazing, unassuming restaurants serving great food. Amasa is one of them. You wouldn't think Elkhart Lake would be a good place to get Mexican food ... but you'd be wrong. The head chefs at Amasa are from Mexico City, and they are serving the food from their hometown. I ate a birria taco that was probably one of the best I've had anywhere. And I don't throw around the words "best" and "tacos" lightly. You see, I'm Mexican, as well, so my standards for Mexican food are very high. This Mexican food at Amasa is legit. I also had a chile con carne appetizer that came with tortilla chips (amazing!), a spicy salad with apples and pepinos (refreshing!), and meatballs (so tender!). Of course, I could have just eaten birria tacos all day. You should know: There is a brick-and-mortar restaurant, but Amasa also has a food truck parked in the back of the restaurant that sells an abbreviated version of their Mexican menu. You'll find tacos, flautas, brunch plates and desserts. There's also a cute little outdoor patio area where you can hang out and eat.”
“So good that as we ate our soup and sandwiches, my friend and I began planning our trip to revisit the area again soon, despite living an hour away. We had the chicken mushroom wild rice soup and the tomato basil- both worth every penny. Their bread is worthy of buying a loaf to go. The pullman sandwich was a little heavy on condiments, but exceptionally tasty nonetheless. The atmosphere and service provided rivals the very best of restaurants I've ever visited. Can't wait to visit again soon!”
“Went there for the first time. This is a Roman pizza dough restaurant and it is fantastic. They have a large selection of different flavors of pizza including a beef Marsala pizza. The staff is very alert to your needs. Revisit the table several times to see if you need anything. The ambiance is very nice and lot of different wine bottles on the walls. Lights are low thats why my photos are dark.”
“The perch was delicious and piping hot when delivered to our table. My hubby loved his 12 ounce tenderloin with sautéed mushrooms and onions! Salad bar was amazing, too! We highly recommend!!?”
“Nostalgic, quaint, friendly and yummy! The ice cream flavors are amazing and the taste get the waffle cone! They have decadent chocolates ? too and a retro candy section —-step inside and some historical signs and cute place to sit. Love it.”
“We stopped in on our backyard bar hopping trip. Atmosphere was beautiful and the people we're very friendly. We were greeted as we came in and continued tp be treated great. Definitely recommend!!”
“Ordered takeout fish fry. Perch very good and beer battered cod excellent- light. New owners have been sprucing up the place. Bathroom small but clean. Bartenders very friendly.”
“The food was great! I had an Italian Beef and it was actual real beef not the thin stuff, it was the best Italian Beef I have ever had!! The service was great as well! Will definitely go back.”
“Excellent place! Are group stopped here while snowmobiling and we couldn't be happier with the food! Excellent bartender's and server's! We will be back”
“Hilde always takes care of me and my annoying gluten free needs. Usually something available in the hot food section but if not she'll create a tasty lettuce wrap for me. Bbq ribs are my favorite.”
“Charming little diner Went here for breakfast and had a French toast with bacon and eggs. Also we a steak And eggs. The French toast was nothing like a real French toast and the steak was ok. The food arrived and everyone was very nice, There was an awesome Christmas tree and some other minor decorations. Great little diner!”
“Very welcoming and friendly environment. Food was delicious. Highly recommended if in the mood for a enjoyable meal. Their virgin marys are tasty, best i've had, probably better with vodka~”
“Great food and service. If you have a need for a party, this is your go to place. They'll try to honor every request. Great place to watch sporting events top.”
“Stopped here based on reviews…Establishment smelled good, place is spacious, staff was very friendly. Variety of beer on tap.I specifically came to try the fish fry. It was very tasty, but also quite greasy and i ran into a lot of bones, but at least they were relatively soft.I could see myself returning, pretty good first impression.”
“If you find yourself in Kiel, Roeck's Bakery is 100% a must. A staple of Kiel since the late 1800s, Roeck's Bakery is a fourth-generation family owned and run bakery. The bakery isn't large, however there is a plethora of baked goods to select from. They also give 50% off on day old baked goods. Roeck's Bakery supplies many restaurants in Kiel with their delicious baked goods. My nephew loves their loaves of wheat bread. I must recommend their blueberry cupcake with cream center. I do not usually like cream in my cupcakes because typically the creams have a funny taste. At the insistence of my sister, I got the cupcake. I am so happy that I did! The cream is fresh and doesn't have any additives or flavors. Roeck's has redefined the cupcake! If you are not a cream person, like I was, maybe try Roeck's! You'll be presently surprised! Pro tip: go early! They are popular and sell out of baked goods by early to mid afternoon.”
“My new place for fish, had the bluegills and there were 6 big pieces, very good and the prices are good also.very nice young girl bartender that was there if you needed something, buzzy for lunch but was still fast”
