This place is fairly new so I gave them awhile to get up and running before I visited a couple of weeks ago. I tried to be understanding about the slow and almost absent service, but it was unacceptable. The wait staff seemed almost untrained and clueless. I was as patient as possible but after barely being waited on in the couple of hours I was there... But I finally got up and asked the host for my bill. I could have easily left without paying as no one was paying attention to me. And the food was nothing special. It had a overly processed or burnt type of taste. They give you a lot of it though. As far as the price, I had pancakes, bacon and coffee and it was over $25. Not sure if that was correct. Guess I could have saved on the tip but I did not want to do that. I won't be going back.

I would not recommend this to any traveler or local. The staff was inattentive and absolutely more worried about how they looked and their hair. The food was mediocre and bacon was undercooked. My endless pancakes became 2 pancakes because the waitress disappeared for most of the meal. Only had one serving of coffee because low n behold the staff of young Hispanics were all on break. Restrooms were not passable as toilet paper was not even in the dispenser. So for the massive remodel to make it modern and good to look at, it only hid the fact of worse service and undercooked food I've seen in 20 years of traveling this country and globe.

I had the worse experience of my life! Visited IHOP LOCATION WHERE I WAITED FOR 30 min to get my kids food the waiter then informed me that my New York pancakes where being redone because I asked for no strawberries since I am allergic which I was ok with but after my kids and another 30 min the waiter comes with my pankcakes and as he is setting them down I see it stained of strawberry glaze when I see the the middle is full of strawberry glaze!!!!! After the waiter knowing I was allergic 1) they just flipped the pancake that was previously made 3 min ago or 2) someone intentionally added strawberry glaze in the middle trying to hide it!!!! Because the new York cheesecake pancakes when ordered do not even come with strawberry glaze center

My family and I went on new years day. Ordered the pickle fries and chicken wonton tacos for some starters. Pickle fries were soggy and the wonton shells for the tacos were either over done or stale. Which i could eat the wonton tacos every day of the week.. my fiance ordered the biscuits and gravy meal, and I got the whole lotta bacon burger without pickles and tomatoes. The biscuits and gravy they brought out was anything but that. 2 little sauce cups of gravy with 2 big biscuits that didnt look very appetizing. My burger had everything on it. Goes through 3 people's hands to make sure it comes out right.. The only reason im giving it 2 stars is because the pancakes and the French toast we got was very good. Our waitress was nice and did a good job.

We unknowingly visited on a training day while everyone was really busy prepping for the Applebee's/ihop crossover. The menu was limited but the food & service were both really good and since it was a training day, our meals were free. I'll definitely be back. That being said, I actually walked out of the old Applebee's for terrible service the last time I was in Beaver Dam so I'm glad they are starting over.

The food was ok, probably will not get breakfast here again. Bacon was not fully cooked. Don't like that every corner of the restaurant has cameras up, I understand by entry and registers, but over every table is a little invasive. Servers were friendly.

Came to the Fond du Lac, WI location at 11:40am, found the place about 50% capacity. Yet it took over 5 minutes before any employees came to the front desk to seat me, then another 10 minutes before they took my order, and it's been around 45 minutes since placing my order and I still haven't received my order. I'm about ready to walk out and go to McDonald's since they actually serve food.
