Zig’s Lakeside Pub and Grill

First time visiting here on a Saturday afternoon. 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Waited over 20 minutes just to put a food order in, while people who came in after us had their order taken first. Waited about 45 minutes for the food, which we got the kids’ food but not ours. Another 15 minutes later we finally got the rest of our food. I did appreciate there were puzzles and coloring books for the kids. But we will not be back. Only explanation was they were “slammed”, no genuine apologizes given. A heads up that the food order would be slow would have been appreciated, and more communication throughout. Our kids’ food was brought and I had to ask about the rest since there was no explanation. Food was decent but definitely not worth that sort of wait. They also charge extra for small amounts of lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on a burger. Very disappointed in the entire experience.

I loved this little hidden gem! First time visiting. The food was really good and not expensive. It's been awhile since we ate out and didn't feel like we spent way too much for what we got. I can't wait to visit in the summer and sit on the patio right on the lake. One last bonus.... Tried Potosi Seltzer for the first time. YUM! And they were $2. 👍

Great cod dinner, reasonably priced. Great wait staff and a excellent cook! This is a super fun place to hang out in the summer months. They have outdoor dining, bands and are located on Beaver Dam Lake.

Ben there many years ago! I am sure they have new owners! They have an excellent fish dinner. Give them a try. We did and loved the food!

Just moved to Beaver Dam from Chicago. I love this place . Food is outstanding and the people are so kind. Great fun.

Went for the Thursday special and it was terrific, I had the $2 brat and my wife had the $2 hamburger both came with chips both were very good and cooked perfectly.

Parking: Plenty.

Kid-friendliness: Wisconsin tavern good atmosphere for parents to have an adult beverage and soda for the kids, with kid menu.

We came here for the first time and we absolutely loved it. We had Kristin as a server and she was very attentive and got everything we needed. She was sweet and treated us well. Atmosphere is super “ home town” and comfortable with a full bar and great seating options. Best fish fry around!!!

amazing service once again. Even with a power outage the entire staff was professional. Jamie our server explained everything she is an amazing person who goes above and beyond. We had no issues with waiting to have dinner. recommend everyone give them a try.
