I’m usually bored with bland, sugary cakes but I am SO IMPRESSED with Old Fashion Bakery’s!!! My husband surprised me with a small birthday cake and I wish I had a photo to share, but that’s how FAST I ate it🤣🥰The whipped frosting and moist cake was FANTASTIC! Wow! Thank you! I will be sourcing my special occasions here from this day forward!

Spouse went to pick up some treats for the family. Not greeted my staff, they actually overlooked him, continued their conversation and giggling . The staff was sure to greet next two people who entered store which just happened to be white. All of a sudden a Hispanic male from the back came out to see if he could help my husband who just so happens to not be white. This is not this first run in with this establishment, their have Ben several occasions that's this same thing happens, do not greet us and or help a customer that came after us. We have spent a good amount of money for poor disrespectful service. At that time we thought oh maybe they are just busy or overworked, so we decided to come back a second time. Only to be treated the exact same way. Made my husband feel invisible and not welcomed. I would caution people not spend a dime with any of these business unless they want to continue to support a biased company that doesn't care about their customers.

Great Bakery! Congrats to the new owners, Ron and Cindy Ross of Janesville. Thank you, former owners Dennis and Rose Mulcahy, for your years of service to the community. I hope you enjoy your retirement.

i have ordered cakes for over 20 years and i ordered a cake on Sunday for a Christmas day Birthday and was told the Decorator will only put a edible image on the cake Now in the past, I have had a cake made with the grinch with frosting and I gave them 2 pictures of the exact cakes that they made for me and told them that I wanted them done just like that and they told me they can't do it.and the costs was not a problem

Cookies are delicious but they're selling them at woodmans for almost $9 a pack. I had put them back to buy store brand that was half the price. That's too expensive!

Use to love this place, the donuts seem always fresh but not so much lately. If you're going to serve stale donuts at least mark them down and put them aside so if people want them they can get them.

Great little old school bakery. Average prices. Everything we tried was good as expected. .45 cent charge to use credit card. No biggie. Love the cute cookies and great tastes.

Went in hoping for a good "old fashioned donut" and was disappointed. The staff was fast and kind, the place looked very well kept and interesting and there was a nice variety. Ordered a cheese danish and apple-filled tart/strudel. The "cheese" in the danish, oh dear lord, how can you mess this up? It's just supposed to be sweetened cream cheese. This was some sour milky white mess VOID of dairy. The apple filling in the strudel was some kind of pre-packaged paste and again the dough tasted soapy. Perhaps we can blame the cost of flour being $5 a bag for cheap substitutes for old fashioned donuts. Shame, really wanted to like this place as the people seemed great.
