We moved out of state over 10 years ago, and each time we are traveling here to see family, we must stop at Sophia's. The food is always great, the chicken and dumplings, out of this world. Our grandchildren. Now grown, still love coming here with us. The service is always wonderful. Thank you for the great food and hospitality! We will always make it a point to gather here with family.

It’s a cute little diner on US 51 in Beloit. After living up the road for five years, i finally went there for breakfast with my friend Bob. Our waitress was great, and she made the whole experience of eating there great. My chocolate chip pancakes were delicious, and I will definitely be returning soon.

Great place for lunch. We were headed to a different restaurant (we are out of towners and were looking for a lunch place), saw this place with the parking lot full - always a good sign. Staff was great. Friendly, attentive, and professional. Food was good. Hamburger for me, chicken fried steak for my husband. Chocolate cake and apple pie for dessert. The coffee was good too! Would recommend.
