Definitely has the Supper Club vibe. The food and service was terrible. We had an older lady as our server and she was horrendous to work with. Told us that we couldn’t share our food with our 4 year old child, that we had to pay for a meal for him. I got a prime rib medium rare and it came out so well done I couldn’t eat it. Overall a terrible experience. The staff doesn’t care and just seem like they don’t want to be there. Also no one was in the restaurant, and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. 2/10

What a hidden gem! If your looking for fancy drive on by. If your looking for great food, amazing staff (Nancy was a hoot) and a bit of nostalgia, this is your place. Had a little band and the folks were dancing. Loved everything about the place.

Don't be fooled by the good reviews. I think those are from the neighbors who frequent this watering hole. This is not what one expects when going to a Wisconsin supper club. We should have known when the musty smell greeted us along with the "for sale" sign when we opened the door. We went with a party of twelve for a special dinner. No vegetarian or pasta options on the menu. Steak-loving husband was happy to see prime rib; at about $32 it was a huge waste. Worst prime rib he had ever had. It was dry. He did not even finish it all. Prior to that, when getting his salad and soup, he had to chip dried food off his soup bowl. I thought my shoes would come off as they were sticking to the floor along the salad bar. It wasn't a temporary problem; it was carpeting and appeared to have been that way for some time. My walleye seemed to have spent the winter in the freezer. After a few bites and as many bones, and no usually-delicious walleye taste, I gave up and just ate my baked potato. One member of the party, a rib aficionado, ordered the ribs. She ate less than a quarter and did not want the doggie bag. The waitress seemed nice, but didn't check back often, and forgot my ice cream drink. The meal was pricey and wasn't worth even a small fraction of the cost. We won't be back. We stopped at a McDonald's on the way home. Eventually it will make a good story. Next time we want a supper club, though, we'll definitely find something else, and let this place stay hidden.

Very friendly place, very good food. Its for sale. It does need a freshing up unless you like the older supper club look.

Such a fun band tonight, really great service (understanding that they were short-handed, too!) And the food was really good as well. Great example of a homey Wisconsin bar/restaurantKid-friendliness: Can't promise this all the time, but the band tonight played a couple kids songs for my daughter and they really win over a fan! Couldn't get her off the dance floor the rest of the night, regardless of what they played. The restaurant itself also has a kids menu, and are super sweet.

Excellent food. We had steak, shrimp and catfish. A perfect Ol' Fashioned and Pink Squirrel. The service was excellent and the salad bar was full of homemade soups and top notch salad bar options. If you are looking for an old school supper club - take a drive to Hideaway Acres!! Delicious!

The atmosphere of this place fits exactly what I think a classic Wisconsin supper club is. Super friendly staff that probably has many years of supper club experience. Great food, great old fashioneds from bar.

We were returning from a trip to Iowa and I had this spot marked if ever close by. The name holds true. It's just a few miles off the Hwy but several lefts and rights through the farming community. The property is currently for sale. We walk in and we're warmly greeted even though it was clear we were not locals and overdressed as we were coming back from a funeral. When we walked in there were several couples on the dance floor enjoying g themselves to some country music. The bar which is a nice size has several seats taken and there were a few sections of seating for dinner, of which about 1:2 was full. They offer a salad bar and we're proud to say " no preservatives through all the homemade fixings. The salad bar could have used a little TLC and the bread sticks were a little stale but overall the selection was deep and good tasting. My prime rib was a little tough and about a 20oz portion for the king cut. My wife had the queen cut and it was roughly the same size and she though it was just Ok. My side was mashed potatoes which were dense with a brown gravy and the other plate had a baked potato. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Not worth a return trip
