“We stopped by on a bus with bachelorette party..THE BEST TIME! Had a piece of taco pizza and head back today for that! We are from Missouri up for weekend fam event and on way home. A MUST stop for local flavor in WI! First impression was a winner. Nice folks!..... Update. Was just wonderful. Owner remembered the party had stopped in a few weeks earlier. Pizza a knockout!! “Omg the best little find just across the border! There a this old bar that is actually one of Wisconsin’s oldest bars full of history and amazing bbq! Cold drinks but no hard liquor. This bar is part of the Cheese Head trail for ATV/UTV. When we stopped it was full of motorcycles too. Staff is so friendly and is willing to share their experiences with others.Parking: Sooo many options for any type of vehicles”

“The burgers were very good . The crinkle cut fries are perfectly cooked . This place is not just bar food . They present a salad bar that was fresh . Macaroni salad was good . Pattymelt was very good . Everything is alacart, so it is easy not to waste food . Burgers 1/3 lb about $7 large fry $3 . And it was a large order salad bar with burger was $5 just salad bar was $8 .”

“A cozy and comfortable place on the main drag through town. They have a nice menu selection, and we had a variety of breakfasts in our group. I felt the ham on the Eggs Benedict was a little chewy and rubbery, but their sausage gravy had a nice, peppery flavor. Overall it's a breakfast you can get about anywhere, but it was a nice break away from the crowds in Galena.”

“Great food, great service and spotted cow! Wanted a place to get spotted cow before hitting the airport to Dubuque. Small place with Mom in the kitchen and son working the front of the house or his wife when he is not working. Walked in and the bartender/owner/waiter said "we can make room" as we were walking out. He set up a table and made us feel right at home. There were four of us and we all got burgers and I had a couple of spots. It may be our new go to as we go to the airport.”

“We have a second home in Galena and whenever we can we love to travel to Cuba City to spend some time antiquing and stopping at the Dead End bar for some drinks, food and laugh time. This is a very friendly bar where everyone welcomes you like you have lived there forever. This is a direct result of the husband and wife owners that treat you like family. Always a new frozen mug for your beer and all the drinks you could ever want from their well stocked bar. So if you are looking for a "Cheers" like atmosphere in a small town rural community The Dead End bar in Cuba City is your place.”

“Subway in Shullsburg is a very busy place but they take your order and get you out quickly! There were three people working at making sandwiches when I stopped. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I ordered a sausage pizza and it was done in no time. Four people ahead of me but still very quick service!! Good job and pizza was very good!! AND THEY HAVE RASPBERRY ICED TEA!! My favorite!!”

“Was close to my hotel so walked over there. Unassuming restaurant, not much for decor. However the food was outstanding. And served at the temperature of the sun, And the service was just as good. The hotel lot was very busy, and since I had my jeep right next to my window, I didn't want to leave my space. Glad I tried this little place.”

“I wish I had asked the name of the guy working, because he was outstanding! He was one of 3 people working, and he greeted every customer that came through the door. Super friendly! He also continued to engage with multiple customers about their orders (in an over-and-above fashion) while making orders. I was picking up an online order, and after another employee had already checked in with me, he did also, and offered to give me a cup for water while I waited. He warned me politely to get a good grip on my bag as I took my order and wished me a good evening. I told him he was doing a really GOOD JOB!”
