“A cozy and comfortable place on the main drag through town. They have a nice menu selection, and we had a variety of breakfasts in our group. I felt the ham on the Eggs Benedict was a little chewy and rubbery, but their sausage gravy had a nice, peppery flavor. Overall it's a breakfast you can get about anywhere, but it was a nice break away from the crowds in Galena.”

“Lovely small winery! Owners are absolutely sweet people, welcoming and lots of other customers make me felt welcomed. Really neat to have free wine tasting for 5 different wines for free and you can enjoy glasses of what you liked from the selection. I bought a bottle to go! Also, was able to buy and enjoy a Wisconsin cheese. Very lovely outdoor patio area to enjoy the sun. Thank you for the warm welcome!”

“We have a second home in Galena and whenever we can we love to travel to Cuba City to spend some time antiquing and stopping at the Dead End bar for some drinks, food and laugh time. This is a very friendly bar where everyone welcomes you like you have lived there forever. This is a direct result of the husband and wife owners that treat you like family. Always a new frozen mug for your beer and all the drinks you could ever want from their well stocked bar. So if you are looking for a "Cheers" like atmosphere in a small town rural community The Dead End bar in Cuba City is your place.”

“There is a reason they win Best Fest year after year! We absolutely love The Village Bar! Kurt, Shelly, Brady, Trish and the whole gang are the best! Large menu with delicious options are sure to please any size appetite. Every time we walk through the door we are greeted with a smiling face and a welcoming attitude. It's more than just a supper club, this is a place we can go to talk with friends and enjoy some down time. Let's not forget it is home to one of the BEST old fashioneds I have ever had. If you haven't been here yet you're missing out, and if you have been you know exactly what I'm talking about.”

“Very cozy atmosphere, when there aren't a lot of people there. Great Theater Room with darts and an Xbox.Service was fine. The girl behind the counter was pleasant.The food was alright. The Mocha wasn't good. (My wife compared it to a Mocha from Burger King... Not a compliment.) The Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Chibata and the Frassati Franks (Pigs in a Blanket) were both pretty dry, but tasted good.We'll be going back to see if the food improves when it's a different time of day, with a different choice in food.Parking: Parking lot is very small. There is street parking, but you won't find a parking spot when the college is in session.”

“Stopped for supper after touring UW Platteville. Ordered 3 entrees. Barely had time to dig into our chips and salsa and our food was at our table. Chile Chicken Relleno, Burrito Chicken Fantastico and Pollo Loco were all delicious. Staff were courteous and attentive. Will definitely be back since we will have a college student moving in.”

“Omg the best little find just across the border! There a this old bar that is actually one of Wisconsin’s oldest bars full of history and amazing bbq! Cold drinks but no hard liquor. This bar is part of the Cheese Head trail for ATV/UTV. When we stopped it was full of motorcycles too. Staff is so friendly and is willing to share their experiences with others.Parking: Sooo many options for any type of vehicles”

“We ordered takeout so I can't speak to the atmosphere but it sounded busy on the phone! Support staff who took my order were super friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were great! My only complaint was that the mozzarella sticks were pulled too early and a little cold in the middle--but hey, they were busy!”

“Date of visit: Friday, March 29, 2024Fun little bar in downtown Platteville. Parking on street as well as next to the VFW.We went mainly for the Friday Fish Fry, so did not bother looking at other menu options.Got the 4 piece cod dinner, which includes coleslaw or cottage cheese, fries or baked potato, breadstick and dessert for $13. Service was quick. Food was good. Atmosphere is fun. It got busier as the evening progressed. Table plus bar seating available. Pool table, darts, pull tabs available. Each night there are different specials going on.We already plan on returning.”

“Great food, great service and spotted cow! Wanted a place to get spotted cow before hitting the airport to Dubuque. Small place with Mom in the kitchen and son working the front of the house or his wife when he is not working. Walked in and the bartender/owner/waiter said "we can make room" as we were walking out. He set up a table and made us feel right at home. There were four of us and we all got burgers and I had a couple of spots. It may be our new go to as we go to the airport.”

“One of my favorite places to get wings in the area. Other food I've tried is great as well. Staff is always friendly, and occasionally you might catch live music. Great place for food, drinks and possibly some entertainment.”

“The staff was very kind and talented at making yummy cocktails. The food was so delicious. I had the ribeye which came with potatoes, brussel sprouts and tasty little tiny onions. Best steak I've ever had at a restaurant! My husband had the salmon which was equally as delicious. We had the 3 cheese dip and bread as an app which was such a different taste but so good. Ended our meal with the chocolate torte. That was the best meal I've had out in a long time. I hope this place sticks around because it was all around just a lovely experience.”

“I over all love the pizza and prices. But the con I found is the sneaky sales. I had said before ordering I wanted the 2 topping. He may not have heard me. But the sneaky was he charged ful price and I asked about it. Oh well we don't give the discount unless you ask. That's not good service in my mind. But love to pizza.”

“Incredible! I’ve never been to 3 Maria’s before, but I can confidently say I will be back. A friend and I went for ice cream, and we were overwhelmed by all the options (too many good choices!). The lady behind the counter offered us samples, and that definitely helped. She was super helpful and nice, and the price for ice cream was great, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Would recommend!”
