We were shopping at the local antique store and was looking for a quick bite to eat… the bartenders couldn’t have been more nice to us…even knowing we weren’t local. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Great place for a burger and fries. I stopped in with my son after a track meet on a Friday evening and the special was a double cheeseburger with fries for $10. The burger was delicious as were the fries. I inquired about the Gangster burger which is something I would love to try as well. This is a no frills bar but its family owned for 3 generations. I was overly impressed and plan to return!

Great food, great service and spotted cow! Wanted a place to get spotted cow before hitting the airport to Dubuque. Small place with Mom in the kitchen and son working the front of the house or his wife when he is not working. Walked in and the bartender/owner/waiter said "we can make room" as we were walking out. He set up a table and made us feel right at home. There were four of us and we all got burgers and I had a couple of spots. It may be our new go to as we go to the airport.
