“All I can say is I can not stop thinking about the hand battered catfish and homemade fries! It was seriously the best food I’ve had in a long time! My husband loved his Phillysteak, he said “I think they used Prime Rib”. This was our first time here and wont be the last! Favorite new place that’s been here a long time, for good reason. “The first time my son and I went in about three weeks ago and very friendly lady waited on us. We had a great latte. I had the orange and white chocolate and I couldn’t wait to go back again. Then today we did and not only was the latte not as good. I couldn’t taste the orange at all. (The friendly lady was there but didn’t make our drinks) but the girls were complaining about someone being from Wisconsin while they were at the drink counter making our drinks and how they have people from Wisconsin. I’m not sure if they were talking about me and my family BUT we are from Wisconsin and were standing right there and could hear everything they were saying. My daughter heard them saying this also. I was not impressed at all today. Which is sad because I really talked very highly of the place to my husband when I got the first coffee. And so did my son. I made a special stop there today and was really let down. I guess I should have just stopped at Starbucks that was next door to us in Dubuque but I would rather support a small, local business. I hope next time is much better again or I probably won’t be back again.”

“I only had a few minutes to stop on our way home, we showed up on Saturday morning as they were opening. The girl who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable, I always wanted to stop here and was sad I didn’t have more time to try somethings but I knew I wanted to buy some rum and whiskey, they had very cool glassware as well so I bought a rocker glass, engraved wish I had bought 2, thanks again to the girl that helped me, can’t wait to come back and try some drinks, definitely going to get 3 more glasses.”
