“Very small and off the beaten path but what a great find! One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. Thick patty with a lot of cheese and a toasted bun. Fries and onion rings perfectly made too. Topped off with a tasty vanilla malt. Service could have been friendlier and would have been 5 stars, but was attentive enough I guess.”

“My husband and I were traveling from Iowa to Wisconsin on holiday and saw the sign for A&W. Our local A&W closed years ago so we decided to stop.

The staff was so friendly, and the food left us full but not heavy as we continued our road trip to Milwaukee!

Shout out to Jenna and Kylee for helping us order, and making it a fun experience. My husband loved the experience so much we stopped again coming home to eat lunch and enjoy a frost mug of root beer. He said it was his favorite part of the whole trip!”

“Tailgates have never been more fun. When I went to UW-Platteville, Boondocks was a favorite. $0.50 beer night was welcomed because of our financial status. It was great to go back after so many years and be able to enjoy and remember the bar like it was during my 20s. However, this particular night the bartender was very inattentive. Maybe because I'm old and married, but I got passed over more than a few times for other drink orders. It wasn't overly busy or hectic, maybe 20-some in the bar at the time. Fun nonetheless.”
