We went on kind of an off time, Wednesday around 3. We were the only ones there until we were about finished. Chips tasted stale. Salsa had no kick. Had the pastor burrito. It was about 75% lettuce. The tortilla wasn’t warm. Pass. Chicken fajitas were pretty good. Chicken had a nice flavor. Peppers and onions were good. As we’re the rice and beans. Eh.
We are new to the area and this was our first visit. We definitely will be back, We had the barbacoa tacos with sides of beans and rice. They were awesome, very authentic and worth the money, prices very reasonable and great portions. The waitress was fast and very attentive. Place very clean. Free chips and two kinds of salsa was a plus. Very good also. Cant wait to try other things.
La playita is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. We have been eating here since they opened. Barbacoa tacos my favorite, tamales are tasty. Have never had a bad meal here.
