Crossroads Pizza & Subs

The staff is always super friendly and nice. The new owners seem to really care about the employees and are always super friendly as well. The food ( pizza and subs ) I get never disappoints. It’s always full of toppings and great flavor. All and all a great little pizza shop in a small community.

I ordered and picked up pizza, garlic bread and soda and it was SO good! They said it would be ready in 25 minutes but then I got a call that it was finished early which I really appreciated! Everything was so tasty!

I never make reviews about food/negative experiences but this was god awful. The wings were inedible, the pizza was undercooked with random green peppers on the pizza. Called to report the poor food quality & resolution was to drive back — absolutely not wasting more time to get more poor food. Will not be going back

Called twice on 2/10/2025 at around 7:35pm to see if they could still get in a carryout order for a calzone. No one answering the phones. Got the message and voicemail was full. Happened to be driving on Janesville less than 1min away from the location. I figured I'd swing by and see if they'd changed their hours. Hours on the door read that they are open until 8pm. The open sign in the window was turned off and lobby area lights were down. I didn't get out of the car or check the door. I saw at least one person the food prep area (that side was still lit up). Looked like the person was jumping or dancing around? I guess they closed up early tonight?? Not sure what the company policy is, but I would expect that if someone was still there, and it was before the 8pm closing time, that they should at least answer the phone, even if it's only to tell you that it's too late to take any more orders for that night.
Not the end of the world, but still disappointing.

We just tried to order a pizza for pickup at 7:25pm… 35 minutes before close, and were told they were doing closing duties and we couldn’t order. If you close at 8pm, someone should still be able to order a pizza for pickup a 1/2 hour before close.

Just passed by, needed food. The salad was huge, fresh and delicious. Pizza was fabulous. Super nice service.

Crossroads has good pizza and a very convenient location for our family. The only complaint I have is whenever we've tried calling to order ahead, the automatic message we hear states that either their three phone lines are busy or it's outside of their business hours.

The frozen pizzas and sides are great, but having a working phone system would be really nice when customers would actually like to call ahead and have their hot order waiting for them. Or perhaps consider an online ordering tab on your website??

My friends recommended this place for hot ham and rolls, which I thought was strange, but I was presently surprised. I loved that I had the option for sliced or shaved ham. The 3 teenagers that were running the place were very impressive. (A boy with a mullet and 2 girls - wish I would’ve gotten names) They answered the phone quickly and assured me there would be more than enough ham for me to pick up. Great work ethic. Fast, friendly, and informative service. They were all working hard to ensure the service was quick and efficient. I loved all of the roll options. I loved the organization of the flip book showing me each roll option. Very good prices for the quality and service. I really couldn’t have asked for a better hot ham & roll pick-up experience. The ham and rolls were amazing. Definitely best in the area and I won’t go anywhere else from now on.
