Just moved here to black earth found this quaint little bar and grill. Awesome food great people honestly I've never had anybody. Call me back to ask me how my food was and the owner's wife did just that I'm impressed. FYI, I'm an area supervisor for a restaurant chain so all in all they get an A+ for me thanks guys.

Thursday Rib Special was good. Tasty ribs served with crispy fries. Delicious."The Shack" is nicer than its name would have you believe, but not so much that it's ironic.Folding tables and chairs, paper plates, and an entrance staircase that could use a fresh coat of paint are a few of the charms of this neighborhood dive bar.Friendly service that borders on "midwest nice" and clientele who are "real characters" make you smile and feel welcome....

My family came here, unplanned for a quick bite. We loved what we ordered and were also impressed with the fries. Usually fries are just ordinary fries, but these ones are in my top 3! Service was great and quick! We'll be back!
