Sam was awesome. She worked her tail off, even when slammed packed full of people.

The food was typical bar food but good, fish and fries. The service was great and the place was very cozy ☺️ It was inside the hotel which was very convenient.
Parking: We parked by our room and walked to the bar/restaurant.

Fun and cheap dive bar. Open late and a great spot for drinks and bar food.

We were only there for the breakfast, but really wished that we weren't too sleepy to have spent some time in the bar the night before. Such a nice looking, inviting, and clean space. If you stay at this place, save some time to visit the orange moose!

Nice iconic statue.
A Phoenix rising from the ashes of the pandemic. That’s how I’d describe the Orange Moose Bar & Grill. About a dozen years ago the wife and I decided that instead of buying a Northwoods cabin, we’d patronize a host that could deliver the experience with fidelity. A handful of times annually in the intervening years the Orange Moose and It’s associated hotel have served that function. We’ve seen many changes at the Moose over the years, many during the trying days of the pandemic. While the overall trend has been toward reduced hours and services, I’m delighted to see the flicker of new life in the Orange Moose. This weekend we attended their New Years Eve party, which was well-planned, and provided to the opportunity to stay off the road on amateur night as we were able simply to walk to our room. The menu at the bar included their usual staples of pizza and fryer food, which was augmented with the daily specials of pulled pork or chicken, which was great to see. Other recent efforts include free pool night, and a forthcoming go at bingo Sundays. All told, the Orange Moose Bar & Grill is on the path to returning to its storied past – transitioning from its pandemic role as an amenity exclusively for hotel guest - to its former broader command as an attraction that drew the community and passers by alike to its shining beacon.

Good place, aged but plenty of parking for trailers and ATVs, close by trail access. Bar was reasonable.

Me and a friend wanted to sit at the bar on a Friday night around 8pm and the bartender asked us to go elsewhere so she could go home soon. Bed was comfortable.
Rooms were so dirty and had a terrible musty smell. My husband’s socks went under the bed and when we went to get them we were shocked at how dirty and dusty it was under the bed. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see clearly out of them. The toilet seat was gross and dirty and we had to clean before we could use the toilet. We will not be staying there again. The lady at the front desk that checked us in was very nice but that is the ONLY positive thing to say about this hotel.
If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would my husband and I and 2 of our friends stayed there because their hotel was on the ATV trails. We were put on the ground floor(bc they had a wedding that weekend) and our room had so must moisture in the air that our pillows and blankets had a dampness to it my friend couldn't even plug in his phone bc his phone showed a warning that there was to much moisture is the air it was the worst the day we were leaving so I decided after telling people about my experience and after paying $400 for our stay to call them about the issue we had. I called the hotel prob 5 times in a course of 3 weeks being told to talk to one person and then when I got that person i was told to talk to that I needed to speak to another I leave messages no one would return my call. Later to find out out they refunded me 50 some bucks but put it on the card I used to hold the room not the one I actually paid with. my debit card expired in July and they refunded me in August so instead of contacting me( after still not getting a return call after I was told each time someone will call u you right back or in 1 to 2 days) and explaining that they are going to refund me such and such money and confirming what card I wanted it on they put it on a credit card that I never use ( was the only card I had on me at the time of booking) and when I called them to see if it could be taken off my credit card and back on my debit I was told an owner would call me after I explained to them how upset I was that still no one has called me back to even discuss the issue and that their employees kept pushing off the call to eveyone else. I ended up calling today and was told my Fran there is nothing they can do I became upset because I was told the owner would call me and still a month later no one has called and she hung up on me. Don't waste your time at this hotel management is very rude if you have any issues they will be not help or follow up with your personally. At this point it's not even about the money it's about management not taking responsibility when someone has a complaint about the hotel so they push it off on other people not follow up. I called their customer service line and was asked a few times how I wanted to be contact I said by phone not email because I had issue getting my confirmation email from them.
Cute place to stop for photos/getting out of the car to stretch legs. Park / pond area was a bit sad with the trash all over the ground, big parking lot, fun attraction!
