The only way I would go there is if it was the last place on earth and I was very desperate to eat The place was dirty and another member of our party went to the restroom and said it stunk. The lady that came to our table was very rude. I asked for chili. She said to me 'Do you see it on the menu" and I pointed to a sign on the wall behind me that said chili daily. We went to another restaurant down the street and we're very satisfied with food and service. Viking Cafe we would highly recommend. We told our waitress our experience and she was not surprised. I do not know where these other comments were coming from, because they surely didn't eat at this place, and I use the word 'place' very loosely.

Came here with a group of 8 adults, and 3 little ones under 3 for the fish fry on Friday. No surprise that it was crowded at dinner time- but we assumed they would be staffed for it. Sat out in the patio area. Waited an HOUR just to get our order taken, and then well over 2 hours just to get our food. And of course, even though we didn't order much that was fried, about an hour into our wait, found out that fried everything was all that was left. We were told by the waitress that Lady Dawn is the only person allowed to work in the kitchen, which is why they were so far behind on orders- because she won't let anyone help her.
...Needless to say, our little ones could not last 3 hours for food, so had to leave with their parents to go back to where we were staying and feed them something else. We got the parents' food to go, and brought it back to them. Beer was cheap, luckily, and the waitress was nice enough, but clearly understaffed. Food was nothing to get excited about. Salad bar was ok- shoved in a little corner by the bar. We won't be back, ever. There's better options in WI for a fish fry than this.

Awesome little dive bar. Wood, wood & more wood, love it. Wisconsin sports decor. All sorts of fried fish, I had blue gill and was very good. A little pricey but comes with an excellent salad bar. Lady Dawn is a bit grouchy and was not pleased that I was taking pictures.

Was in the area for the car show, decided to pop in for a beer & something to eat. April was the bartender & was welcoming and fun. I ordered the Lady Burger which is a nice sized mushroom Swiss burger! A half pound burger with plenty of fried onions & mushrooms. Great option for only $10… I added an order of fried mushrooms too.

This is a great dive bar with everything you need for a great time with friends & strangers alike. Next visit will be longer to get to immerse more. But bring cash as they don’t accept plastic payments.

Did not feel welcomed, so we walked out.
Someone recommended this place, and a Google search shows they have a bloody mary bar, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in and were the only customers there. No one greeted us, so we asked if we could sit ourselves. We asked for a bloody mary, which is why we went there. The guy at the bar said he was by himself and didn't know how to prepare one. A heavy set waitress approached the table to take our order. I asked what she recommended, and she replied, "Fries...that's all I want to cook." We told her to give us a minute to look at the menu. She walked away and tossed her notepad on the counter, and that's when we got up, offered to pay for the water, and walked out. We had a terrible experience and will never set foot inside this establishment again.

You'd think she'd have learned how to treat people better from the amount of business she's lost because of her rotten, horrible attitude.This place does NOT deserve the 4.3 stars Google is showing. Those reviews are almost as old as the crone that owns the place. Look at the recent reviews and you'll see this place is terrible. Which is sad. You come to a small town expecting small town charm, and this woman just ruins everyone's experience so she can pour more booze down her employee's throat....IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!The way she treats people is GARBAGE. Her food is TRASH. Her "employees" are DRUNKS. This town deserves better.

Dive bar, at best. Extremely rude and unprofessional owner/staff. When asking simple questions about the "menu" posted on their Google page, I was given condescending and rude remarks. As well as pretentious attitude. Clearly the only people welcome here are local alcoholics.Can't give this place enough credit about the truly terrible service I received here.? DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SINGLE PERSON, COUPLES, OR FAMILIES.
