We lucked out. Drove by and Matt had the truck open so we ordered the Supreme pizza. First time we tried the pizza and it was fantastic! One of the best pizzas we have ever had! We will be looking forward to it again.

We've frequented here several times since they opened earlier this summer, and have tried a few different pizzas, all enjoyable. My all-time favorite, however, has been their SUPREME PIZZA. Seriously, it's THEE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. Here's the scoop: Currently carryout, (until the remodel of the restaurant is completed) we've enjoyed taking the pizzas to Brigham Park or home for dinner. Check what's available weekly on their Facebook page. Order ahead via Facebook messenger and let them know when you'd like to pick them up. They will confirm the time. Pizzas are served Friday and Saturday only, 4-8:00.

I’ve been on the hunt for the best pizza in the Madison area… and I can finally say I’ve found it at The Hazelnut Cafe!! My boyfriend and I got the weekly special (kale-ifornication) and a plain cheese pizza and it was some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. We could not stop talking about how good it was while eating and the crust was next level. We got the rhubarb cheesecake crumble bar for dessert and that was amazing as well! Definitely worth the thirty minute drive from Madison, go check them out!

Love this place! Last week we had the zucchini pizza special and tonight we had the kale and sausage: both excellent! Appreciate the fresh ingredients and wood-fired taste. We’ll be back. :)
*** We took our pizza to nearby Blue Mound SP and watched the sunset. Perfect date idea…. hint, hint ;)

I love wood fire pizza! This cute little food truck offered a great variety of sauces, meats, and veggies. I ordered the weekly special with white sauce, garlic olive oil, the 3 cheese blend, carmelized onions, and zucchini. I also added sausage. Since I hadn't ordered ahead, I was told that my pizza would be ready in a very reasonable 30 minutes time. There were cute bistro tables to sit at and the Hooterville Inn across the street, but I opted to take a short walk on the bike trail. When I returned, my pizza was ready- and it was delicious! Everything about my experience captured the best parts of summer in Wisconsin. The owners were incredibly nice as well. It was absolutely worth the drive to Blue Mounds. 10/10 would recommend.
