The cook had no skills or training. The bartender was not friendly at all. The atmosphere was not inviting. How does this place stay open.

Hideaway Bar & Grill is a family friendly and casual spot with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is great and solid, with highlights including the spicy chicken, the burgerlicious, burgers, and the Friday fish. The Thursday night pasta special and Buffalo chicken nachos are also noted. The salad bar is a nice spread with good pasta salads and good coleslaw, offering good value. Sides like waffle fries are very good. For drinks, there is a good bloody mary and a good choice of tap beer, though the Old Fashioned is not recommended. The bartenders are friendly. It is a place to support local.
