The Guides Inn in Boulder Junction is awesome. Rachel, our server, took great care of us - her 16 years of hospitality and experience was evident. Everything was excellent - appetizer, Walleye Cheek fritters, relish tray w/ liver pate & garlic/ herb butter spread, mushroom/ truffle bisque, spinach salad w/ hot bacon dressing (or fresh garden salad, your choice) - entrees were perfect - pan fried walleye, coquilles St James, coquilles St Osep - delicious. Then the salad comes and then the soup. They were both great! Main course was...

We also had two very yummy shrimp appetizers. food quality was excellent but the interior had kind of a lame (oddly bright and quiet)...
