I've been coming to this hotel - casino for some time. Casino is very nice and the the hotel a pleasant surprise. Very welcoming. I especially enjoy the free entertainment. Don't listen to the sour grape reviews. A top casino experience in Wisconsin!
This is the nicest place to dine out in our area, as most are small tavern/bar type places. The regular menus are fantastic, and the special nights can't be beat. Our son uses a wheelchair, and staff is always friendly and accommodating to him without acting in a way that overly draws attention to his disabilities. That means so much to all of us. It's the kind of thing that most people wouldn't think about until they're in that situation. Thank you, Longhouse! ?

There is a lot to like about North Star Casino Resort; however, on my recent visit I did take notice of several short comings. I normally park on the surface parking lot, but this trip I elected to park in the structure due to inclement weather. The parking structure has very poor lighting. Parking structures at casinos are the place a customer is most likely to be a victim of crime. Quite simply the extremely poor lighting is unacceptable.
