Couldn't ask for a better bar and grill. The food was delicious, prices were great, service was stellar. There was a gentleman bartender who did an awesome job and made drinks so good they made me want to tip more than the drinks cost. We stayed at a friend's permanent site in the campground and went to the bar for dinner. The campground is nice, a bit crowded if you like to be camping by yourself but that said, the sites are divided/separated nicely, lots of trees between...
Camping, if you have a self-contained unit, it's a nice place. Rough camping is it.. only 1 sketchy shower and flush toilet, and an outhouse. The beach at the pond was nice, with a raft to swim to. I didn't try out the bar or food, just a visit to camping friends..
My boyfriend's family's cabin is just a few miles from here and we try and make it to campsite at least once each time we are there. Always friendly people and workers. And of course you can't forget the yummy cheese curds!!
