Finally found a croissant that measures up to the croissants in France- this croissant from Batch Baker was huge, fresh, and delicious. I was only passing through going home, but will definitely come back!
Batch Baker is more than a small-town gem — Ashley (chef/owner) is one of the most talented baking and pastry chefs around. You can tell she’s a great teacher, too, because everything that comes out of that kitchen hits the same high standard every single time. I’m grateful to have this spot in our area to share with my family, and it’s absolutely worth the special trip to Brillion.
I’ve been here about 6 times in the past 3 months and each time I visit I think, “I really ought to come here more often.”
Their creativity and thoughtfulness, whether it’s the seasonal drink menu or the bakery, it shows a level of care you don’t often see.
Their sourdough is phenomenal, I’ve been obsessed with the caramel apple chai, and the biscuits and gravy is fantastic. It’s a guarantee I’ll be coming back for more!
