Applebee's Grill + Bar | IHOP

Got seated at the far booth, waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our existence, 4 employees made eye contact with me, even the woman seemingly running the place and being chatty with people on the opposite end of the restaurant. 3 more couples got seated, one literally in front of us and still nobody came by, not even to ask us for our drink order. We got up and left. No wonder this place has a 3 star rating.

We had wings and a sampler. The dip was I over cooked the quesadilla wasn't even grilled just the shell folded over. The wings were cold and the mozzarella sticks were the only thing warm. Not sure what it was the we got sick after them.

This location was definitely something different. To begin with, I’d like to say the positives; Mike H(trainee) and Devon (server) were amazing. They worked perfectly as a team and were definitely working their butts off. Also, our food was VERY good! We had chicken wonton tacos, the pancake combo and waffle combo. Food was hot and fresh. We were in and out within 45 minutes, which was very surprising given the amount of people working.
The negatives: I literally only saw one server on the floor for the entire restaurant. One (And the host in training). That one server had 14 tables at one point. That’s beyond ridiculous. I’m aware they were having their holiday party, but that should never happen! I also saw a few people helping Devon that weren’t even clocked in. Now, while my experience was positive, I saw many tables waiting and waiting for refills, drinks in general, and wanting to cash out and not being able to because once again, one server had 14 tables. Shout to Mike and Devon for rocking it!

Silverware was dirty, waited over 10 minutes to finally be asked about drinks, table was held up by sugar packets, not even kidding, by the time we got our food, it was undercooked as well as raw.

Walked out after sitting down. The atmosphere is very eery and unwelcoming. The staff seemed disconnected and inattentive.

I'm sure part of it is growing pains, etc.
The wait for apps was too long, then the dinners came out 2 minutes later, no time to enjoy the apps.
The boneless wings were on point! The Salmon was good, but the sides were kind of bland.
The was no senior menu, or Ihop specials anymore, no barcode on receipt to scan for pan coins either.
It does look like we'll need a new go-to place for affordable breakfasts now.

Update:
After a few months to let them settle in and get things right, we decided to give them another chance.
First off, Devon was our server and he rocked, couldn't ask for a nicer person, so I added two stars for the service. My wife liked her breakfast, but like the last time we were here, the sides were kind of bland. I'll just leave it at that.

Let me start off by saying Tammy is the bomb. I walked in and didn’t see a server for 40 minutes. Tammy noticed, and took our order for us and was very friendly and very apologetic. Once she heard that we had to wait so long she immediately made it right no questions asked even though she was busy with the bar. Tammy saved our date night, while waiting was unpleasant once Tammy took over the experience was great! I’d definitely come back just to see Tammy again

Walked in was not greeted instead the guy gave us a bad look like he didn’t want to seat us and then we waited about 40 min for them to come take our order until we got fed up and left because we wanted to eat. We were hungry! They didn’t acknowledge us at all! It was a terrible experience this WILL be my first and LAST time coming because the service was terrible! The people that came before us got their orders taken before us which is crazy because we waited 40 minutes!!!!!!

Service is TERRIBLE! We waited over 35 min just for them to take our orders and they still didn’t come to us or even acknowledge us at ALL!!! And it wasn’t even that busy so we left and the guy that seated us looked mad the whole time when we were all smiling trying to be nice. This is just Terrible. I never leave a review before but this is too terrible to not say anything. Do better. Never coming.

Our server was amazing! Constantly checking on us, extra helpful, chill, kind and funny. I hope we get Poncell every time!
