“Enjoyed a nice dinner at Carrabba's. The menu offers a lot of options to please just about anyone. The food was very good, honestly better than I was expecting from a chain, made OG seem like McDonald's (we don't go to either). Service was attentive and things came out fast! My only complaint could be that we felt rushed, salad during app, dinner while still eating salad, just too soon. As an establishment that is more upscale, that was not expected. I will say the team was great and it seemed to be a slower night with full staff on hand. We still had a great meal and would stop back!

Parking: The lit was a little awkward and could get very challenging if the restaurant was running at capacity.

Kid-friendliness: Probably not the best choice for youngest or most energetic of your littles. It's a more upscale dining experience with several groups enjoying wine before ordering dinner”

“I’ve been two severa Coopers Hawk wine bars, but living in SE wisconsin I was excited they finally opened a MKE location. My first experience was they were so packed and wine tastings were impossible because there wasn’t enough room. Too much of a good thing, both sides of the bar! But that’s being fixed now. They remodeled to increase size with a new bar, are adding an enclosed outdoor patio by spring, and adding staff to speed up service. Today I had three wines, plus an over pour they gave me during a flatbread lunch paired with the chef’s suggestion. Amazing stuff. Checked out with 6 wines, flawlessly used my card on member file, and utilize a reward credit. Quality, ambiance, and value. MKE finally has all three! I expect Brookfield will become as consistently great as Gurnee and Barrington, just a little closer.”

“I went with some friends that came from out of town we got there around 7pm on a Friday we waited about 30 minutes to get our drinks and 15 minutes to even get waited on. They were understaffed which I figured for a Friday it would be better staffed my coffee was old so I asked for a fresh cup waited for it and it was horrible taste like it was old or the coffee machine needs to bed cleaned,our blooming onion was kinda burned the best thing I enjoyed”

“Absolutely phenomenal! Came here on a date with hubby and loved every second of it. We order the shareable sides of mushrooms, chipotle Mac and cheese, Flemings potatoes. We ordered NY strip steaks as our entrees and calamari and crab cakes for appetizers. The food was spectacular! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting! Our server, Al, was fantastic, and the manager, Josh, was wonderful! 20/10 highly recommended! Can’t wait till we return!”

“First time here. Went for lunch. Everything was terrific from atmosphere, service, cocktail list & food. Perfect experience. Pizza was delicious and plenty to eat for 2 of us. Patio seating was very nice. Nice backgroung music inside. A lot of Frank Sinatra, perfect for the Italian setting. Nicely decorated. Our server gave recommendations of her favorites when asked. She was very knowledgeable about the food offerings. Love their tomato sauce! Sweet with a garlicky touch.”

“Elbowroom definitely describes this bar. It is very small and dark, much like a lounge. They did have live music their the days I've been there. I think they have it Wednesday night and on Sundays, 1-4pm when there's not a football game. I did not eat there but their menu is small, and some of the food looked interesting. I had an excellent dirty martini and their prices are reasonable! Their staff is wonderful. I do want to try the Reuben, maybe next time ?

Parking: There are a few slots for parking on the Northside of the patio in front of the bar, they also have somewhat small parking space in the back. But considering the size of the bar I think they have plenty of parking available.

“First time there, and I loved it! I had the seared tuna and a bowl of clam chowder. All of it was so YUM! My husband had the prime rib steak.... That was also great! My kids were also super happy with their chicken strips and shrimp scampi. Definitely a win in my book.

“my husband and I went there tonight for his birthday. the food was really good but I want to brag about Robert our server. He is the best server I have experienced in a long time. we never once had to flag him down to refill our soda. If we blinked we would miss him putting a fresh basket of bread out for us. Our empty plates never sat on our table for long before Robert walked by and swooped them up. kudos to Bravo! for hiring Robert. I would definitely come back if I was guaranteed him as my server. Robert thanks you so much for the excellent service you provided, and I hope we left you a great tip, you truly deserve it”

“This is going to be a long review so I'll start with the meal first and you can stop reading whenever you want after that.
Hands down this was a fantastic meal for all of us 6 diners. The server was a master multitasker and did it well. The food was served quickly and correctly. I had the Eggs Benedict and can honestly say it was the best I have ever had. The pancakes, sausage, beet salad, hashbrowns, fruit, bacon and anything else we had was done to perfection. Only locally sourced and (I believe) organically grown ingredients are used; the eggs are the deepest color you can imagine, and all the tastes are vibrant. Our only downside was the noise level in the side room where we were seated. Conversation was not always easy. When I say we all cleaned our plates I am not joking. I also had the new Paradox juice which is a wonderful combination of juices; I just wish it came in a bigger glass.
Now on to the other wonderful details about this location. I asked a staff if they had outdoor seating and she started a wonderful conversation all about Mimosa and the many things I would only know if she had told me.
The outdoor seating is beautiful and on a warm day, with a light wind it would be a very calming place to dine. This location is all handicap accessible. They pride themselves on being special diet considerate; the kitchen is setup with separate areas to avoid cross-contamination. Whether you have allergies, or dietary restrictions of any kind, speak up and they can assure you of your safety. Having been in the restaurant business I can tell you this is very impressive, and I give them high points for this. They are also involved in giving back to the community charitable organizations and have donated many thousands of dollars to those in need. Bravo! And they list all their local sources on the board. If there is a wait for a table you can have a seat at the front bar area and enjoy a mimosa.
I want to thank GM Amanda for taking my one question on a ride of all Mimosa has to offer. I am impressed with a business that took so many steps to be inclusive and caring while serving incredibly great tasting food. I cannot recommend Mimosa enough.

Vegetarian options: If you have any vegetarian needs you just need to speak up. The kitchen prepares food as ordered so there is no need to hesitate to ask for specific dishes or preferences. (The GM Amanda told me this.)

Dietary restrictions: The GM tells me that are kitchen ready with separate prep areas to accommodate all dietary needs, from allergies to personal preferences. She detailed the kitchen prep area with all considerations being taken into account. I appreciate the attention to details on this.

Parking: There seems to be plenty of parking but I'm sure at very busy times there may be a need to park nearby. I did not have a problem at 11:00 on a Saturday morning.

Kid-friendliness: I saw many families with children here. There is a children's menu and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no obstructions for wheelchair users, from the parking lot to the tables. The outdoor area is wide open also.”

“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.”

“Marty's pizza is such a local gem. I have been eating and loving this pizza since I was a kid, an unmentionable amount of years ago. Last night they helped me throw a 50th birthday party for my boyfriend. Provided a great space (in the restaurant, not a banquet room as they do not have one). However it was perfect. The staff was so helpful and sweet to us. The bill for about 25 people that included plenty of pizza, salad, garlic bread, soda, and beer was alot cheaper then I expected. Also, their food is amazing. Please check out this local legend.”

“I really only write reviews when I like a place enough to do so.
I ordered an iced latte, plain/ original flavor. The flavor from the espresso was quite different from anything I have ever tried. It had a woody taste to it that was fantastic. The ratio of espresso to whole milk was also perfect.
The place is also very cute with a early 1900's industrial style with a modern twist. A great place for socializing or getting work done.
I will def be coming here again!”

“We have been to dinner and lunch buffet here several times and it has always been a wonderful and fulfilling experience. I do prefer the buffet (Tues-Sun until 3pm) because I love so many of the dishes and trying them all at once ?. My favorites are the veggie pakora, chicken tikka, almond carrot dish, mango lassi, biryani, spiced tea with milk, rice dessert, mang chutney and really any of the other delicious options I would not say no to. The staff is always prompt and courteous. The manager is accommodating and kind and fills in all the roles of the restaurant when they are busy. The atmosphere is always clean and looks very nice with red booths and bright walls/windows/accents. We always feel comfortable here. “I have a love of trying new small mom and pop style restaurants. O'Sullivan's was today Lunch Date choice with my mommio.
I highly recommend O'Sullivan's especially on a Friday lunch. The atmosphere is quiet and spacious without the feel of hustle and bustle.
Although I was incredibly tempted by their larger selection of Friday Fish Fry, I decided to go with the Reuben. It is an Irish establishment, so it felt just right.
Not only was the sandwich great, but it's sheer size was impressive.
Also, do not pass a chance to have a bowl of The Chicken Enchalada Soup (trust me, a cup will not be big enough. It was that good.)”
