“my husband and I went there tonight for his birthday. the food was really good but I want to brag about Robert our server. He is the best server I have experienced in a long time. we never once had to flag him down to refill our soda. If we blinked we would miss him putting a fresh basket of bread out for us. Our empty plates never sat on our table for long before Robert walked by and swooped them up. kudos to Bravo! for hiring Robert. I would definitely come back if I was guaranteed him as my server. Robert thanks you so much for the excellent service you provided, and I hope we left you a great tip, you truly deserve it“

“Ordered catering dishes and pizzas. I worked with the owner to order and everything was so phenomenal. The penne pasta delicious. Breadsticks are outstanding. Baked chicken was some of the best. Perfectly seasoned. And of course pizzas are always awesome. My gusts couldn’t stop telling me how good everything was.

“Our third time and the anniversary couple's first time (55 years!) and we were all thoroughly impressed! The food is so authentic - better than any dish we had when we visited Italy! Made with love and fresh ingredients, served by staff who care, and presentation and waitstaff well worth the price. This is not inexpensive, but for any meal with ambiance, and never disappointing, I recommend it highly. Five star everything. We cannot say enough. “January 16, 2026. Just had a wonderful experience at Balistreri’s. There were 4 of us having the BEST PIZZA EVER! This is our go to pizza joint…all the way from North Carolina🤣🤣 (a joke). But my review is mainly regarding our awesome waiter, Ricardo! He was so pleasant and fun and played along with our joke! He showed that he truly enjoyed his job….what a joy!“

You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, which makes such a difference. And now that they accept credit cards, it's even more convenient to stop in and grab our favorites.

“Great food. Wonderful Friday night fish fry. Very friendly and efficient man at the host desk. True vintage atmosphere. Servers all run around and are all very unorganized. Our server only had one pen on her. I'm sorry but that's part of the uniform that is extremely unprofessional no matter how old you are. They are all older experienced servers so there was no exception for this. She hovered over our table waiting for us to sign and return her Pen. They do not do separate checks.. The bus boy was absolutely amazing. Everything was fabulous but the servers need to step it up.“

“My family and I have been enjoying leah’s for decades. I love the garlic bread. It’s thick and dense bread loaded with butter! The pizza is great too. I was there on sunday august 4th and our server was attentive and pleasant. I’m shocked about all the bad reviews because I have never had a bad experience there. I can’t think of pizza in the suburbs that I like more than this.“

“We got our 1st pizza from Cataro’s Pizza last night at 11:15pm after seeing the band Without Annette at Da Bar nearby. We were hungry so we searched pizza open late near me. That’s how we found this amazing pizza. The owner had closed the dining room early because business has been so slow but he offered to make us one to go. It was so good! We tried the pasta tonight and it was delicious but a little disappointed with only half an Italian sausage link being an order size for $2. The noodle to meat ratio is definitely off so make sure you order double meat if ordering create your own pasta. Very tasty though!! My boyfriend had the lasagna and said he would definitely order again. Hands down best pizza in the area that we’ve found. 😊“

“I went in person to order my pizza because i was near by. Pizza only took like 15min to be ready. But their entrance, floor and carpet and ordering area is dirty. Filled with grease and flour. Young boys at the front are very nice and polite.“
