I really wanted to have a good experience with my children. Server started out ok, but quickly forgot to bring things to table. She apologized for the long wait, which was appreciated. We had our salad, soup and bread eaten for a good 30-40 minutes before our main meal came out. The food was great, once we actually got it. I had to request the bill to be brought out. I also wish the kids menu had a few more options besides chicken tenders and pasta.
Family owned, no frills Italian restaurant with recipes that have been handed down for generations. The pizza is some of the best in Milwaukee. Treat yourself to a thin crust sausage and pepperoni and order it well done. It will make you smile.

If I had to sum up my experience at Filippos in 1 sentence it would be "bang for your buck casual Italian dining with high quality service" We chose Filippos as our valentine day celebration meal. My aunt had trouble calling ahead for reservations but when I called they answered straight away and were very accommodating.
