“January 16, 2026. Just had a wonderful experience at Balistreri’s. There were 4 of us having the BEST PIZZA EVER! This is our go to pizza joint…all the way from North Carolina🤣🤣 (a joke). But my review is mainly regarding our awesome waiter, Ricardo! He was so pleasant and fun and played along with our joke! He showed that he truly enjoyed his job….what a joy!“

“Nice pizza place in bayview. Although it was a little pricey for just 1 slice, it is quite a big slice so it was worth it.
In Dave Portnoy's words, 1 bite, everybody know the rules. Great under carriage, no flop, and the crust was crunchy.

“What an amazing spot! I had the California and Caprese pizza slices today, and they were delicious! The crust was fantastic, and the ingredients tasted super fresh. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by everyone. They have such an incredible selection that I couldn’t choose just one, so I got two! “While visiting my sister in Bay View / Milwaukee, we stopped by this place a couple of times and had a great experience every single visit 😊✨ The service has always been amazing, and the staff really know how to take care of their customers 🙌 One time they were actually dealing with issues with the lights, but even with that problem going on, they stayed calm, focused on the customers, and still made sure our order was prepared correctly 🍕👏 The cash register and oven were still working, so they continued helping everyone with such a positive attitude ❤️ That level of dedication and customer service really impressed us. “All they have for food is all they need for food: pizza. They have classic and modern cabinets + enough pinball, skee ball, and hoops games to keep you entertained. Plays are $0.25/player for every game, but they have specials that lower the cost per play even further. Great for small and large parties alike

“Stopped in for dinner while I was in from Chicago. Everything from the ambience, service, and food was amazing! We had the shrimp scampi, caesar salad, spicy sausage rigatoni, and the rigatoni alla vodka, with a side of their focaccia. Generous portions so we were lucky to bring some back with us! Definitely will return the next time I’m in Milwaukee! 😊“

Summary: good beer selection, great NA selection, ok cocktails, good food, ok atmosphere, nice staff, not too expensive.

The one thing that I think takes away from this place is that I've never seen it super busy. The music isn't too loud which I appreciate, but it can be a bit underwhelming when you walk in and see that there aren't too many people. Decor is nothing special but it's a clean, modern space. However, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone seemed to like their drinks though the cocktails weren't amazing. I suppose that's not super important for a brewpub though. They have a great list of NA options as well. The food menu was pretty decent with your typical brewpub fair, lots of flatbread pizzas. My group ordered the sausage and mob boss which were good! Pretzels were... idk they were pretzels. I enjoyed them. Buffalo chicken dip was great too! They had a nice selection of card/board games. Parking was easy to find.“

I’ve been going there for three years because she chose to have a big meeting about me because I had attitude. “I had heard great things and had never been. Was heading to see a show at the Marcus Center last night and we opted for dinner here. Being a foodie, I had asked for recommendations in some of my foodie groups. I heard the meatball appetizer was a must have. It wasn’t on the menu for some reason, and I’m glad I asked as Frank, our awesome bartender/server who is in the family didn’t realize it wasn’t. I have zero idea how you get meatballs light, fluffy, not dense, but these were them. And the sauce! Beyond fresh, light, and delicious. Eggplant Parmesan fries were also super light and served with the same delicious sauce. And then the pasta… Capellini alla Caprese (which was Frank’s recommendation). From their menu: “Handmade angel hair pasta tossed with sweet Roma tomatoes, genuine Prosciutto di Parma ham and an Italian soffritto (olive oil, onion and garlic), finished in a light chardonnay-cream sauce and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.” This was also super clean, light, and just delectable. The bruschetta appetizer we did not order, but the people next to us did, and I asked to take a pic. It looked amazing, and the girls eating it absolutely raved. The tiramisu - not much to say other than chefs kiss! I literally want to go back and try everything on their menu. This was for sure one of my favorite new (to me) places and I will be back for sure! Also a shoutout to the other bartender Shea… she was an absolute gem. All of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Love places like this!“

“was there yesterday for the st patrick's day parade. Great experience till we moved in side. the waitress was more concerned about her getting tips and wasnt polite when I asked to turn up a game that was on. she spent more time changing our check then getting two beers. we got the check before the beer and was forced out by her racism and anger towrds a white couple. if the roles where reversed she would be up and arms. so we got forced to leave not by words by actions. we got disappointed i wouldn't recommend going there for an event like a parade at least not in side the out side tables where hard to sit in and the benches where if not loose then broken. dont expect out side service you hve to go inside to order and pick up everything. the bartender was spot of if you want a shot and a beer. the inside service sucked“
