“Took myself out to breakfast for my birthday and I had to check out the all vegan cafe! I have been vegan for 7 years now and I have never found anything like this! I had a veggie scrambler and mango tango fusion smoothie and both items were so good! And then they brought me a slice of vegan chocolate cake for my birthday dessert. It was the sweetest and kindest gesture. I can’t wait to come back!“
“We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. And our server (Tanya) was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.“
“PlantJoy has changed my life. I love PlantJoy so much! Their plant-based food delivery service not only satisfies my taste buds but also aligns with my values of promoting a healthier lifestyle. The convenience of having these wholesome meals delivered to my doorstep adds an extra layer of joy to the experience. I'm excited to share this culinary experience with everyone I know! It's definitely food for the soul and warms the heart. I haven't missed a week yet. ❤“
“My first visit to Temple Goddess was on St Paddy''s day. I enjoyed the vegan Ruben very much. My son tried the Disco fries their version of poutine, yummy. I took home some extras for my hubby including the pastiche. What a wonderful place and friendly people I will return time and time again!“
“My mom and I stopped in last night, and we were blown away by the food! My mom really enjoyed the Superbad burger, and I LOVED the Pineapple Express burger. If you’ve ever been curious about meat alternatives, you have to check this place out because it was DELICIOUS. I also cannot stop thinking about the cauliflower wings - we got the sweet chili flavor, and honestly they’re the best vegan wings I’ve ever had. Beyond the food, the place is adorable and the young lady at the counter was so friendly. The vibes were perfect and we will be back soon!“
“Decided to join my cousins on a juice cleanse. It was my first time here. They have many flavors of juices and shots to choose from. They come with the cutest reusable bags (small and large) and the juice flavors are yummy! I opted for the 3 day cleanse, it's around $100 for 21 juice bottles. You drink 7 a day and watch the magic work within your body. Comes with a cute handy paper to help you get started. It was pretty neat to see the juice machines behind the counter as well. Starting my cleanse today! We shall see how this works! Even if you don't opt for the cleanses, they are great to have with meals or a snack individually.“
“Love having this co-op in the neighborhood. I frequent here so much and love supporting them. Their selection is pretty dang good for being such a small shop, and they have reasonably priced local eggs. The grab and go cooler is so convenient, often have fresh baked goods at the counter, a good bulk selection where I can bring my mason jars in and fill them up, and they always have fresh locally roasted coffee for cheap. Missing the cafe but hoping there’s more and more pop up events!Editing to say I’m not sure why that person below me is so pressed about it costing $120 to join the co-op, it’s literally $20 for the year. Maybe for the lifetime benefits but you don’t have to pay that up front. You don’t have to be a member to shop here either.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee!! Prices are reasonable and they give you lots of food. The food itself is absolutely delicious; best injera I've ever had. Inside is charming and comfy. The waiter/I assume owner is always very kind.“
“A perfect encapsulation of "corner bar meets Cafe meets diner." Not only are their vegan options sublime, and near-indecipherable (as a meat/dairy consumer), the mood was gentle and inviting, and our server/bartender Ben was a delight. They somehow managed to create a full N/A bar menu for the day while simultaneously providing both food and drink with jovial energy and calm, intelligent awareness.“
“I had the berry breeze bowl and the chocate orange bowl. They were to die for! Better than I expected. Athough from a vacationers perspective these prices are quite high, they seem to be close to the rest of the city. My friends had some of the boba drinks and they loved them too! We would eat here again if we come back to this area!“
“We stopped by for lunch on Saturday to have some sandwiches and we left satisfied. My partner highly recommends the pesto sandwich. I had the spicy Italian and was a bit overwhelmed w the olive tapenade, but I should say I’m not the biggest fan of olives so I’m biased. The tropical and sweet pink smoothies were refreshing! We also got a side of spicy sesame noodles for the road; delicious but not spicy enough. The folks here are super cool and amazing“
“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“
