“Stumbled upon this charming local vegan restaurant on a weekday in MKE. The woman working the counter is super sweet & brings your dishes out as they're made fresh to order. The Turkish coffee is smooth, rich espresso balanced with cardamom. The Gyro was a great portion of well-seasoned vegan kofte protien, fresh & roasted veggies, & creamy sauce all wrapped in airy flatbread. To finish, the Ganesha smoothie was a warmly spiced take on a Mango Lassi which was refreshing & not-too-sweet as a dessert to go. A great little shop for a healthy plant-based lunch in the heart of MKE!“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. “What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“January 16, 2026. Just had a wonderful experience at Balistreri’s. There were 4 of us having the BEST PIZZA EVER! This is our go to pizza joint…all the way from North Carolina🤣🤣 (a joke). But my review is mainly regarding our awesome waiter, Ricardo! He was so pleasant and fun and played along with our joke! He showed that he truly enjoyed his job….what a joy!“

“We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. “Just tried this place today. An all I can say it such a wonderful breakfast. My wife has a gluten allergy. They are very knowledgeable, know what there doing. An make your experience the best it can be. Gluten free French toast with in house made gluten free bread. It was delicious. Made the wife cry happy tears knowing she could feel normal. Excellent all around—the POG juice leveled it up even more. I love this place, and I am gladly adding it to my favorites/must haves when we get visitors.“

“La Finca is a little hidden gem here in St. Francis. From the personable employees, to the delicious food and drink, and their support of local organizations and small businesses. What’s not to love? Saturday’s often bring a table or two of vending from local artisans. Their monthly socials benefit local spots like the library, and nonprofits. My only wish for this spot is for better signage on the outside so more people can find it!!“

They were delicious even later into the evening, the tasting was amazing, communication was great, and they were very transparent about pricing which seems to be difficult to find in the wedding industry. “I was here today & had a fantastic Milwaukee pizza, garlic bread & a glass of wine! I was shocked to see how big it was inside! It’s also very nice & I can’t wait to use the outdoor patio when warmer! Rob was so accommodating & helped me to my car with my food as I’m disabled! Can’t say enough about this place!! “Went for the first time today for a doggo lunch date with muh fur baby. Wonderful staff and quick service. I noticed negative reviews complaining there was dogs, well no crap it’s the business model and there’s an actual picture of a dog on the door and logo. ANYWAYS price is a little steep but when I got my food holy cow it was delicious. And I love that they have dog friendly menu items available as well. The place is super clean for the amount of guests and animals that come through. Loved that the food pickup and service area is separate from dining. The only downfall was I did pay for pickles and there wasn’t any but I didn’t even notice it until I devoured the first half of my food. No big deal. I ordered the steak sandwich and strawberry limeade which I also love is made by hand with fresh fruit. My dog is now sleeping in a food coma as am I.“
