Morel is a fantastic farm-to-table restaurant in downtown Milwaukee, perfect for special occasions or a casual night out. The lamb carpaccio is a standout dish, with the perfect balance of meat and acid. While some dishes like the oyster mushroom and polenta were a bit one-note, the adventurous menu offers plenty of delicious options. The pork shoulder, short rib, and lamb shoulder were all very meaty but could have used more seasoning or a starchy balance. The service is always amazing, and the atmosphere inside is lovely. Morel also offers some of the best cocktails in town. Overall, Morel is a solid choice for a tasty meal with friendly staff, though some dishes may need a bit more seasoning or balance to truly shine.
