“Lovely long time diner located in Thurston Woods neighborhood. The Hoppel Poppel is excellent, as are the country fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Polishing off an already big, healthy meal, you can't resist their fresh cinnamon rolls.“

The hand cut chips were fried to perfection and the bleu cheese dip was good, although a little light on blue cheese pieces. I would enjoyed the sesame chicken pita, the portion size was good as was the flavor and it paired well with the crunchy Asian slaw.

Great experience till we moved in side. the waitress was more concerned about her getting tips and wasnt polite when I asked to turn up a game that was on. she spent more time changing our check then getting two beers. we got the check before the beer and was forced out by her racism and anger towrds a white couple. if the roles where reversed she would be up and arms. so we got forced to leave not by words by actions. we got disappointed i wouldn't recommend going there for an event like a parade at least not in side the out side tables where hard to sit in and the benches where if not loose then broken. dont expect out side service you hve to go inside to order and pick up everything. the bartender was spot of if you want a shot and a beer. the inside service sucked“

Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered.
