Full fine dining experience, minus pretentiousness. Our service was incredible and made us feel like we'd been regular patrons for years. We went on a Saturday, so we only had the option of 4 course menu (7 is reserved for weeknights, we'll definitely be back). We had the 7 course surprise menu with wine pairings. The food and presentation were very good. The dishes were quite healthy, yet tasty. We enjoyed the duck and cheese dishes the best. The desert dish, while good, was not as good as I wished. This is part of the gamble with the surprise menu. We went to Alinea in Chicago last year around the same time.
