“Our server Deon was great and every single thing we tried tasted sooooo good. We got a bunch of appetizers, a few different shakes and desserts and the wings, a burger and the pineapple Express burger with a chicken patty instead. This is a a place you could easily take non vegans and they would love it too. Highly suggest this place. Try everything you can!“

“Stumbled upon this charming local vegan restaurant on a weekday in MKE. The woman working the counter is super sweet & brings your dishes out as they're made fresh to order. The Turkish coffee is smooth, rich espresso balanced with cardamom. The Gyro was a great portion of well-seasoned vegan kofte protien, fresh & roasted veggies, & creamy sauce all wrapped in airy flatbread. To finish, the Ganesha smoothie was a warmly spiced take on a Mango Lassi which was refreshing & not-too-sweet as a dessert to go. A great little shop for a healthy plant-based lunch in the heart of MKE!“

“We were very impressed with our guide Keirsten.She was over the top with our SPICY group. Shakers accompanied our wounded leg toury so she could seek out ghosts with us. Sampling a few amazing menu items and cocktails prior to walk about. Shakers hands down made the best Old Fashions we had on our trip to the mid-west.Thank you for letting us make memories at Shaker’s 10/10“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

“What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.“

“January 16, 2026. Just had a wonderful experience at Balistreri’s. There were 4 of us having the BEST PIZZA EVER! This is our go to pizza joint…all the way from North Carolina🤣🤣 (a joke). But my review is mainly regarding our awesome waiter, Ricardo! He was so pleasant and fun and played along with our joke! He showed that he truly enjoyed his job….what a joy!“

“We visited for the first time today and this is an amazing place!! Our server Chad was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!!! I was skeptical because we came close to closing time but the food came out fast looking picture perfect and tasted out of this world!! “We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. And our server (Tanya) was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.“

“Just tried this place today. An all I can say it such a wonderful breakfast. My wife has a gluten allergy. They are very knowledgeable, know what there doing. An make your experience the best it can be. Gluten free French toast with in house made gluten free bread. It was delicious. Made the wife cry happy tears knowing she could feel normal. It was our Valentine’s Day date-I had the chicken/pork combo plate with carrot pineapple slaw and macaroni salad, my husband has the Hawaiian breakfast. Excellent all around—the POG juice leveled it up even more. I love this place, and I am gladly adding it to my favorites/must haves when we get visitors.“

They were delicious even later into the evening, the tasting was amazing, communication was great, and they were very transparent about pricing which seems to be difficult to find in the wedding industry. This is the go-to place if you want donuts for your Milwaukee area wedding!!“

“One of the better places to get authentic home-made tasting Japanese food in the city. As always, service is great, the atmosphere is personal and the food is delicious.
The vegetable curry was great with a rich flavor and well cooked veggies. The chicken katsu was crispy and juicy but lacked some flavour. The combination with the rice was very comforting.
Great place to catch a quick lunch/dinner with friends or with a date.“
