“Had booked a high top but were able to be seated at the bar which was wonderful. Highly recommend the mushroom bruschetta, we can't wait to go back and have it again. The Pasta Primavera was very good, I'm not a fan of pesto with too much basil and not sure what theirs is made of but it's not all basil and it's great My husband also enjoyed his Penne alla Vodka with Sausage.”

“I had nothing short of a warm welcoming visit. They greeted me happily when I first walked in and the girl taking my order, kayla I think??, was so sweet. She had a smile the entire time and held eye contact and helped me figure out what to order. The woman making my drink, glasses maybe grace, was dancing and having a great time while making my complicated order. This location has pure vibes and I see myself coming back soon. They are all so sweet and happy”

“Date of visit: April 6, 2024 I've had reason to come in here a couple times in the last couple of weeks and am reminded of just how much I like bread, and Breadsmith bread in particular. There is always a nice variety of breads available and I brought my mom some of the rhubarb jam the last time I was there and she really liked it. This time around the recommended I sign up for their loyalty program; I did that when I got home and I have a month to go back and get a free loaf. A free loaf of bread? That's like telling a drunk there's an open bar! Really my only issue here is that when you come in, they say hello but never look at you when they say it, so I have no idea who is saying hello or if they are even saying hello to me. I feel weird saying it back when I have no idea if it was even intended for me!”

“My son and I came into the Whitefish Bay location. I didn’t realize they weren’t open yet. The owner was there and was so friendly and welcome. He said, it’s okay, what will you have. I tried to tip him and he wouldn’t accept. So I figured a review is as good as gold. Super friendly, clean, fast service!!”

“From the moment you walk through their corner shop door, you feel like you've entered a familiar and comfortable place. The service and atmosphere are just what you want out of a local coffee shop. Andy and Anya were super friendly and conversive. And she makes a fantastic cortado! The Cream City Brick and the nods to the local hometown make you feel like you've entered something truly Milwaukee. The coffee is great; it's now one of my Go-Tos anytime I'm in the area. What a great discovery this morning! Apparently, it only took me 20 years to fnd it! Happy 20th!”

“We love it here! From the terrific staff to the great drinks to the positive and open minded affirmations covering the walls, this place is an absolute gem. Both my nanny and myself take my son often and he loves the play area so much. I stop in a few times a week for the coffee/drinks, as it’s the best on the block (& that’s saying a lot bc there’s not shortage of competition on North Ave!) Such an awesome addition to Wauwatosa!”

“SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS PLACE! They had such a great atmosphere. It is so bright and welcoming and extremely clean! We hosted my labs 2nd bday party here and had a group of about 20 people. My dog had an absolute BLAST and so did I! John the owner was so welcoming and helpful. He was so easy to work with and made sure that everything was to our liking at all times. Highly recommend this spot with or without a dog. The added bonus is the food and drink is fantastic! They have a great selection of both and make a mean cocktail. I cannot say enough about this place!”

“Granddaughter wanted a cheeseburger for lunch, her favorite! Looked for delivery in our area and came upon this site. Food was so delicious. Delivered to us in less than 30 minutes. Burgers were massive on brioche buns. Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were fresh and crisp. Found our nearby go to spot!”

“My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. The "salad" bar had so many delicious choices. Our favorite was the cheese bread. It must have been a hit because it was picked clean twice while we were there. All of the meat sliced at the table was tender and delicious. Wear stretchy pants because you'll leave full!Parking: You can park in the BMO parking garage and the restaurant will validate your ticket so it will be free. Very nice?”

“Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.”

“Love this little place- we were so surprised to discover it was only a 10 minute walk from our new place, and had definitely alleviated some of the sadness of losing the walkability of downtown! Prices are absolutely fair for the quality, everything I’ve purchased here has been delicious (sandwiches, bakery items, drinks). There’s something new in the bakery case everyday which keeps us coming back frequently. Service is super friendly and helpful! I’m so excited to frequent this place even more in the summer when their rooftop patio opens (and for longer hours). “Unique lattes that make this a special coffee shop to come to in Milwaukee. I had the experimental Pirate Lyfe latte and I somewhat regret that decision. There was a distinct bitterness that didn’t go well with the other flavors. The atmosphere of the cafe is very calm and this makes a great place to read or study. The worker was nice and the latte making process is very visible. It was a cool place but it could’ve been better.”

“Cool atmosphere but typically very busy so you may have to wait for a seat. People here seem quite friendly. You have to go up to the counter to order food. Then they bring you your food but you've gotta take care of putting it away. The food is honestly hit or miss in my experience- sometimes it is SO so good, and sometimes it's honestly a little disappointing (especially regarding flavor). “Cozy, warm atmosphere, friendly attentive service, and the food is amazing: creative choices, mouthwateringly delicious, and visually pretty (see pics).The Tonkatsu Ramen had a very tasty broth. The Bluefin Tataki had a complex blend of flavors (citrus, spicy, sweet) and textures which make me want to try it again next time.(We had to wait for a table, and gave our cell # to the hostess - unfortunately she had the wrong number, but fortunately she saw we were parked in front and came out to our car to get us! A pleasant surprise.)The restroom was clean, and smelled nice, and had humorous posters on the wall.”
