“Needed a cake for my son's birthday. I called as my husband was on his way past the BrownPort location. They said they needed till a certain time but it would have been too late. She asked what flavor and it was a Win for us. Thank you for being very accommodating on such short notice.”
“Chicken parm with pasta was very good! It just took forever to get. Service was incredibly slow to the point where 2 tables seated after me got up and left after being completely ignored. I was right behind them, but I was finally served. Good food and patio, they need to work on at least getting drink orders and acknowledging guests. Doesn't matter how "busy" you are, no excuse for it.”
“We always do carry out and I love the tracking feature. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. 4 for food because there’s never enough cheese for me ?.”
“Baking at a high level. It took me a minute to realize she was there - but as another reviewer commented - there's a reason her lines are so long, and yes - you should get there early.”
“The food and the service was superb! I hadn't been to this restaurant in probably 20 years and I enjoyed it then so I did not know what to expect today. But I really enjoyed everything.”
“Food was very good. We especially enjoyed the guacamole made at our table. Only issue was our server disappeared for awhile when we needed our check. Overall we will be back, too good not to.”
“We stopped in to grab a quick lunch, the service was quick and nice. The place was spotless. We just had come from a doctor's appointment and the gentleman behind the counter graciously accepted a Peppa pig sticker!”
“This is one of the smaller locations that Starbucks has, but I've never seen a crabby customer or employee here. It's been a challenge to get to because of the constant Orange cone fever SE wisconsin constantly has, but thy still smile.”
“Had a great dinner at Noodles and company! Tiara took my order and did a great job! She had such a "can do" attitude and was so friendly. Great service and the food was delicious (try the Pad Thai with Zoodles!)”
“We enjoy the pizza from here and order it regularly, but one thing I do not love is their crust. It's not like any other crust I've ever had on any pizza ever, and I wish it was more of a traditional thin or ny style crust. I also don't remember the crust being like this when we used to order from the Rosati's in the Madison area. The crust is kind of soft and when it comes it always seems undercooked both in color (white) and texture, even though I don't think it is, it's just their style. Putting it in the air fryer and cooking it longer always improves it. So, if you're reading this, I hope you'll consider a crust tweak in the future.”
“Peking Chef is located in a strip mall. They seem to have mainly pick up and delivery options, but there are tables to eat there. Place your order in the back of the restaurant. It helps to look at the menu online before coming so you aren't standing there trying to read all they have to offer. The daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch special, which came with a choice of white or fried rice, egg roll of choice (shrimp, pork, or veggie) or crab Rangoon, or soup. She got the fried rice and pork eggroll. I was going to order the Chinese fried chicken, but it didn't come with anything, so I opted for the pepper steak with the same choices for sides. I chose the fried rice and veggie egg roll. We also ordered crab Rangoon, which came with six large pieces. Our server brought the food out to us in to-go containers, which was very helpful because there was a lot of food. He brought Styrofoam plates and also brought us a bag to put all of our leftovers in. The food was very hot and had a nice flavor. The Rangoon had a touch of sweet without being too sweet like I've had elsewhere. Our waiter offered to bring us water, but we bought a can of Coke to share. There are other varieties of Coke products to purchase in either can or bottle. Everything we ordered came to under $30, which I thought was very reasonable. I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.Vegetarian options: Many options that are meat free but I'm sure if you asked for something without meat, they would happily not add it.Dietary restrictions: Let the staff know of any issues.Parking: There is a large parking lot with many stores and a physical therapy office right next door so disabled parking wasn't available for us.Kid-friendliness: Lots of choices for all palates.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems getting into the restaurant. There is a one door entry that pulls out. To get up onto the sidewalk can be tricky. We were unable to find disabled parking, so we had to park in a regular spot. The sidewalk to the business has a step all the way around except right where the accessible parking is located and there is a ramp. There aren't a lot of accessible spots, so plan on looking for a ramp to access with a wheelchair, walker, or scooter.”
“My husband and I had a great experience here. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly. The food was good and the place was clean with plenty of tables to sit at. (Looking at multiple past reviews mentioning cleanliness issues, it seems this Qdoba has made some positive changes. Everything was orderly and clean, food was stocked, and all employees were wearing gloves and changed them frequently.)I've also ordered from here several times in the past, and they've always gotten my order correct. I would recommend!”
“From the moment you walk through their corner shop door, you feel like you've entered a familiar and comfortable place. The service and atmosphere are just what you want out of a local coffee shop. Andy and Anya were super friendly and conversive. And she makes a fantastic cortado! The Cream City Brick and the nods to the local hometown make you feel like you've entered something truly Milwaukee. The coffee is great; it's now one of my Go-Tos anytime I'm in the area. What a great discovery this morning! Apparently, it only took me 20 years to fnd it! Happy 20th!”
“We love it here! From the terrific staff to the great drinks to the positive and open minded affirmations covering the walls, this place is an absolute gem. Both my nanny and myself take my son often and he loves the play area so much. I stop in a few times a week for the coffee/drinks, as it’s the best on the block (& that’s saying a lot bc there’s not shortage of competition on North Ave!) Such an awesome addition to Wauwatosa!”
“SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS PLACE! They had such a great atmosphere. It is so bright and welcoming and extremely clean! We hosted my labs 2nd bday party here and had a group of about 20 people. My dog had an absolute BLAST and so did I! John the owner was so welcoming and helpful. He was so easy to work with and made sure that everything was to our liking at all times. Highly recommend this spot with or without a dog. The added bonus is the food and drink is fantastic! They have a great selection of both and make a mean cocktail. I cannot say enough about this place!”
“One of the best steals you will eat in the state of Wisconsin. If you’re not having an amazing imported wagu, then you’re having one raised on their own farms here in Wisconsin. There is just something awesome about Knowing what you are eating and where it came from.”
“My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. The "salad" bar had so many delicious choices. Our favorite was the cheese bread. It must have been a hit because it was picked clean twice while we were there. All of the meat sliced at the table was tender and delicious. Wear stretchy pants because you'll leave full!Parking: You can park in the BMO parking garage and the restaurant will validate your ticket so it will be free. Very nice?”
“Last two times I have gone here I have had bad food. Fried chicken livers way over done, and beef shank was dry and tough, variable were under cooked to he point of being raw. And last time I went somehow my bill came out to $168. I had drinks and bought cocktails mix to go, but just seemed like too much after I thought about it. Not sure if I trust restaurant manger, seemed to be playing around with the bill.”
“Granddaughter wanted a cheeseburger for lunch, her favorite! Looked for delivery in our area and came upon this site. Food was so delicious. Delivered to us in less than 30 minutes. Burgers were massive on brioche buns. Onion rings and mozzarella sticks were fresh and crisp. Found our nearby go to spot!”
“Hidden gem , amazing menu with a bunch of small plates to try , def will be back cuz I need to try them all. If a hole in the wall could give you Michelin star vibes this would be ”
“Drove all the way from Chicago to have a weekend getaway. Found this spot on Uber eats. The food is phenomenal. Very impressed with the food quality and customer service. Not a sit down and eat location ”
“My first experience was amazing, there was this girl named Marie and she was very patient and understanding I never ordered from this place before so she made my experience great she walk with me thru the menu and she was very calm they food was amazing and I would definitely recommend going back”
“The kids loved unlimited soda tasting, we adults appreciated our beverage as well. Tour was educational AND entertaining (it was a busy and a microphone for Jeff would have been super). Jeff had fun facts, pulled folks in and knew lots about Sprecher.”
“Really good gyro & fries. Quaint little place that is totally family run. I felt like part of the family eating there. Portions were huge, I could have made this 2 meals. Will definitely return.”
“Love this little place- we were so surprised to discover it was only a 10 minute walk from our new place, and had definitely alleviated some of the sadness of losing the walkability of downtown! Prices are absolutely fair for the quality, everything I’ve purchased here has been delicious (sandwiches, bakery items, drinks). There’s something new in the bakery case everyday which keeps us coming back frequently. Service is super friendly and helpful! I’m so excited to frequent this place even more in the summer when their rooftop patio opens (and for longer hours). Keep doing what you’re doing, Bread Pedalers!Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten Free and Vegan options!”
“Delicious, inviting, and bright atmosphere inside. You’ll be craving your meal the next day! The crêpes are filling, especially the savory ones. Try their amazing earl grey and blackberry scone, too! And they make an amazing mix of coffee drinks as well. Can’t wait to come back and see the seasonal menu changes!Dietary restrictions: Separate Vegan crêpe section”
“The employees are so sweet and social and that atmosphere is clean especially the bathroom, it’s so pretty!! The food is so savory and is a 10/10, so delicious definitely coming back !!!”
“Unique lattes that make this a special coffee shop to come to in Milwaukee. I had the experimental Pirate Lyfe latte and I somewhat regret that decision. There was a distinct bitterness that didn’t go well with the other flavors. The atmosphere of the cafe is very calm and this makes a great place to read or study. The worker was nice and the latte making process is very visible. It was a cool place but it could’ve been better.”
“New owners still getting their feet grounded. Sort of an unusual place. Mexican and Thai food. Talked with the owner, a very nice guy. They are still experimenting with the menu choices, based on the customer preferences. We would dine again.”
“When your goal is the whole experience, and you believe in families, and you want healthy food, and ESPECIALLY when you have a family member who is ADHD (for example), this is a wonderful restaurant! It's welcoming, peopled with kind hearts and knowledgeable, empathetic folk. It has a sensory room, and an art room with small, achievable projects. True, the menu is limited but the food is healthy and fresh, and by this time, aren't you sold on it? Go there. You'll be uplifted! We were.”
